All those sets have been out at mass retail. I have cannon set. The tank set and S2 repaint of the Marder III went to Target and later appeared at Wal Mart (though I have yet to see them in my AO).

I first saw that artillery set over a month ago, and yes it was the newer loaders. I think it was at a TRU, not WM. I saw the Sherman set as well but I don't buy Allied armor so I passed on it.

I was hoping for suprise moldings.

like the VC Spitfires, or just something random like when the Opels showed up without forewarning.

Oh well here's to 2009 and hopefully BBi taking over for where 21st failed to achieve the win.

Off Topic, I had my grubby hands on both the new Revell's 1/32 Bf 110C-4/B Jabo(28$) and Dragon's 1/32 B110C Smart kit(Priced at 100$ at my shop)..and someone needs to do a Bf 110C Battle of Britain next year either 21st, BBi or FOV..that would be a amazing build.

Based on what AG has implied, while all those sets and vehicles have been released by 21c in one form or another at Wal Mart, TRU and Target over the past six months, they may be new in that they are now being released to the small retailers.

I wish 21st Century could have finished their run on Spitfires and developed more aircraft.

Has anybody heard anything regarding 21C future?

I believe the Marder and sherman set were originally released as Four Star Military at Target.

Watch for your Walmarts to reduce the prices right after Christmas on these new products. I always try to go to all my local Walmarts after Christmas and clean up.
This past fall I was buying the original 38t and Marder for as low as $5 a piece. I picked up the Stewart set for $11 as well as the Panzer set.
Target usually does the same thing with FOV.
