New Dragon Limited Edition Aircraft & Observation

Post by lightning2000 » Wed Mar 23, 2005 8:36 am

Hi,
Not only did Dragon redesign its web site but it appears they have a new limited edition Messerschmitt flown by Heinz Bar in the offing. Notice that it comes with a 1:72 scale Kubelwagen which means you can probably expect to see the Kubelwagen added to their Dragon Armor line in the not-too-distant future.

I don't suppose you can provide a link to the new 109???
I can't seem to find it on the new site..

Here ya go Harry. If someone could provide me with a short tutorial on how to embed pictures on this board, then I'll all ears.

Is listed in the left hand panel at the top with the word "New" next to it.

Cool looking diorama, but isn't this airplane model widely available from Dragon Wings at a price of $20?
The Gerhard Barkhorn FW109D-9 is in the same dilema.
To me, Cyber Hobby's P-47D Kansas Tornado seems like the best bet for collectors, because Dragon nor any other manufacturer offers this plane at 1:72 or any other scale.

Hey, we can add this to the list

I really like the Limited Edition stuff that Cyber-Hobby has put out. However, I wish they would release a little more, as the list is getting really long now:
1. 1/72 King Tiger-Ritter
2. T-34/76 mod 1941 : Spring 1942
3. Tiger Ace in Operation "Zitadelle" - Tiger I (Early Production)
4. Tiger Ace & Glory
5. T-34/76 mod 1941 : Autumn 1942
6. Tiger I : schwere Panzer-Abteilung 101
7. Super-Heavy Tank : Maus
8. Super-Heavy Tank : E-100
9. 1/144 Leopold (Museum Version)
10. 1/144 Leopold (Winter Version)
11. Heinz Bar : Me 109E-3 "Battle of Britain"

Has anyone heard when we are going to start seeing some of this?
Eric

Thanks Lightning.. I wasn't looking under Cyberhobby, just on the new Dragon site..
It is a good looking set, but I am happy with the Bar 109 I just got..

A 1/72 die cast Kubel would be most welcome. :D
Still, with this being a special piece, you would think Dragon would go out on a limb with a swastika on the tail.

I would imagine that 1/72 Kubels or Jeeps could be issued in the same format as the Can.Do sets.
