Who plans on getting a Wildcat?

Post by Sabrefan » Fri Nov 28, 2008 3:46 pm

I am some excited about the upcoming BBI 32nd scale F4F Wildcat model. I was wondering who else plans on getting one?

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game. :)

SABREFAN:

I plan on getting the Wildcat and Dauntless together. My dealer told me the Wildcat would be arriving next week.

* I was skeptical at first , before my purchase ,.. but I'm glad I bought it now. Especially @ free shipping. I really like it. 8)

* I really like my Jolly Rogers F4J-Phantom as well. 8) ... It is huge , even in 1/32nd scale. ... I got a pretty good deal on it for $35.00 bucks ! *

* Guess I'll have to get the Wildcat now , "Oh my" , Eventually ! :D

Cool, I am glad you got the F-4J model. Of all my models, the F-4J is my favorite. It just really captures the heavy look of the Phantom. :D

I would love to get a Wildcat if they actually made a Midway scheme...

* I would'nt mind one either and that's what you said about the Dauntless too . They probably will later , as another scheme , but hey , "you gotta' take what you can get" , in these unpredictable times.

I do plan on getting one, eventually. I'm hoping I can get the Dauntless for Christmas or my upcoming birthday, so I do plan on getting both, and repaints.

Haven't decided yet. If I do get either one, I'm going to be relegating some of my birds to storage (My P-40, 262, one of my 109's, and my Dora are being considered).

I've only got one more space on my wall to hang another 1:32 plane. But I somehow manage to rearrange all my stuff so I can fit more. This room seems to be able to fit a lot of stuff. You just have to sit down in the middle of the room (chair helps) and look around you. Think for awhile. The walls are good places to hang planes, bookshelves are good, window sills...

I'm glad all my 1:32 aircraft aren't die cast because I think my ceiling would collapse.
