Holy Cow! Another Pugetropolis collector! Welcome!

Looks like WM is digging deep in theire warehouses for product to fill the shelves. Hopefully 21C will be able to replace it with something new, even if it is re-releases.

Not Armor but planes at the Peru, Illinois Walmart. There were 12, 4 each of the Zero, Macchi and P-51 Double Nothing.

I remember when the east west connector walmart had a freaking gaggle of zeros/maachis; probably 10 to 12 feet lengthwise of shelf space and however many deep. No BS. And the majority stayed there quite a while- apart from my selecting one of each scheme. Remember that photo of an ungodly amount of stukas in an earlier 32nd sightings thread on the top shelf in the blanket dept or something?

One of my Walmarts just got in a huge shipment of these. I counted a dozen each of the Grey Opel trucks & M115 Howitzers along with 2 Panzers, Jagdtigers and the Sherman Firefly.

I had to pick up those Panzer IVs.

I'm seriously having a 32x-gasm... seriously. Everything I missed and thought I'd never get... is back on shelves for a final weeze... :) My collection jumped in a matter of hours... it's so lovely...

Ohhhhhh... who lives in Wal-Mart in the toy aisle? Chuck Mangione!

Sorry... sing it to the tune of SpongeBob, you'll feel even dumber than I did writing it.

Note : I'm frickin' excited. It's been way too long since I had that feeling of "I'm gonna miss out on all the stuff" and with gas prices dropping... :)

I saw the German Mortar crew with the 8 ton halftrack set the other day. And of course I have no money now.  What I'd really like to find is a gray Opel.

This is good... very good. I found 21 dollars on the side of the road today. By the end of the night I spent it on a Porsche turret King Tiger.

I also so 1:48 Heidi Marders, and the S2 Marder IIIM in 1:48th, so maybe I'll be seeing the 1:32 one soon! So all the old stock in my 2 closest WM is taken care of. I've got one of each. My next goals are to get Heidi and the S2 38t, and then in the midst of the that hope the other collectors around here buy up the rest of the old stock so maybe we can get some of this other stuff in a restock, perhaps. I'll also be checking several other WMs... but this is making me happy. I haven't felt a real need for a job, while going to school, forever. Now I do. I'm applying before the holidays so I can start up collecting on a large scale again... Get stuff online, in stores, FOV, 1:18th... anything I want... as well as militaria, and save up for a car.

As you can see I am very optimistic. Perhaps things can turn around. There's always tomorrow for everything. The past tells us this, screw pessimists. I spent my whole entire childhood and most of my childhood years as one...
