I think this is a re-release of an FOV 1/32 1/32 Tiger I.
If so, has anyone written a review of it?

I can't be sure, but I think the numbers are different.

As for a review, the FOV Mid-production Tiger is pretty spot-on. It's one MAIN GLARING ERROR is that the guide teeth of the tracks are in the wrong position.

That's a huge error.

Thanks for the info.

Here's another link with more photos including the treads and wheels:

This is the main reason I stopped collecting FOV at the time.

Yeeeep...same ol' horrid tracks. :(I think that's a new repaint though. The old Normandy Tiger I was black 223 (supposedly one of the Tigers of the S.Pz.Abt. 503)

This new release is a "blue 334"...so that makes it a Tiger of the S.SS.Pz.Abt. 101..a Waffen SS Tiger (Wittmann's battalion)

I think the 21C Tiger is much preferable to the FOV version. Not only are the track links off but the road wheels seem to stick out like those stupid kids with the tires sticking out of the wheel wells of their cars. The S1 isn't so bad but on the winter Tiger it is really apparent.

Because the FOV Tiger is a Mid-production Tiger...meaning it still has the rubber-rimmed road wheels, which sticked out more than the steel wheel version.

The 21st 1/32 Tiger is "supposed" to be a Late version...but without the zimmerit...which is also a horrible omission.

The FOV Tiger is the more accurate Tiger. It blows the 21st version out of the water. That's why the incorrect tracks is such a hard pill to swallow...the FOV could have been one of the best die-cast tanks out there!

I agree, but this is typical FOV research. "Lets get it perfect and then screw it up with something simply stupid".

I was hoping for their next repaint, they would strip off those mid-production roadwheels and mount some steel ones, make it a late-production Tiger. I imagine it shouldn't have been too difficult, and in the process FoV could have fixed the tracks too.

ASt least FoV has the full set of road wheels. 21C is missing the outer set as we all know.

Another observation: didn't most Tigers come with track links on the bow plate? I believe the initial pics for the new Tiger showed the links. Although it's easy to mod them on, my 1/35th scale links look a bit out of whack on the 1/32 tank. Any thoughts?
