Finally got the Double Nuthin. If anyone lives near San Francisco, you might know only 1 of 3 Targets ever carried the new 21c stuff. Turned out they restocked after a month of empy shelves, with a Black 2 190, artillerymen, and the Sherman playset. Turned out the P-51 was there too! Hidden under a pile of WWE stuff.
Nice plane, but some flaws; while they may be overlooked by most, picky-people like me would take notice. Does anyone else's plane have the following: split rudder, silver paint on canopy, bright (bright) green paint streak on the cowling? Bought it anyways since it was so rare.
Again, anyone living near SF the Tanforan Target has a Black 2.
Guess I got lucky to even have found this one!
Call me lucky

Good to know those are being restocked in the western states! One Target in my area (Fresno) seemed to have gotten the pieces in, but I only ever found two Panzer 38s discounted to about $5. Hopefully more will show. I'd like a chance at the FW-190 and the playsets
Oh, and BTW, are you from California as well, Der Kommandant?

Train the help...!
I've passed on the only 3 DNs & 1 "Target Exclusive" FW I've come across because of major QC issues---one of the DN P-51s actually had 3-D paint globs and huge swaths where running glue had washed off the silver and yellow paint...Double Nuthin' indeed! I'll wait or I'll do without until I see one that's not an eyesore...

Anyone tried buying a defective Mustang and re-painting it? It'll take care of all the QC issues, and would allow for some pretty unique models.
BUT some QC problems can't be rectified; for instance, my Mustang's rudder just split! Had to surgically reattach it. But, for seventeen bucks, I don't think you can really go wrong.
