I saw the Bald Eagle and Shangri La today, just in case anyone is looking for em.

The Bald Eagle is kind of a shelf-warmer, and there are plenty around on ebay.

The 1:32 Shangri La on the other hand is very scarce. There are none on available on any web stores, and you rarely see them on ebay either. Definitely worth buying.

I have one. I have only seen it on the shelf once, and that's when I bought it.

Another one that seems to be hard to find (and which I had and gave away but now wish I had again) was the 1:32 P-51B "Princess."

Yes, the Princess certainly was a chance find, just one at a local TRU a few months back, no more anywhere since then.

Shangri-La is my favorite out of the 21st "B" Models.

My favorite is actually "Bald Eagle"

Funny how 21c was able to push out so many repaints for the P-51B/C and yet hardly got out anything for the P-51D. Then again, as the P-51B/Cs tended to follow the old trend and show up in the western states first, that is probably why I found them in number and didn't have to wait months to only get a spotty selection...

I was looking up some info on Bud Anderson's "Old Crow" P-51C (one we definitely need in 1:32) turns out that when he got a P-51D his old C was given to someone else who put "Berlin Express" on it, but it was the very same plane.
As Johnny would say: "I did not know that!"

I've yet to see any D model other than the RAF scheme. I'm starting to doubt I ever will. It's like the Hetzer, I broke down and got one online months ago and still haven't seen one. We got Marders and Panzer 38T's out the ying-yang, though their numbers are slowly dwindling.

Wonderful WM distribution. Funny, we had Princess and Shangri-La schemes coming out our Ying-Yang when these were out. I never did get the Princess and had to buy the Berline Express online.

Hmm, go figure. :?

Speaking of P-51B "Princess", has anybody found any information regarding that plane or it's Pilot Lt. Lester Arasmith?

The only pics of Arasmith I have found are with P-51B "Penny"
