I received a few Corgi History channel 1/50 tanks in a trade and think they look great. Does anyone know if they have abandoned this scale or will there be more to come? It appears to me nothing new in a few years...

Those are neat little tanks.
I don't think they're making any more; after the "Skirmish" series, and the golden Sherman, things have died down a bit.
They seem to be more engaged in the aviation fields now.

1/72 just seems so small and toylike. I want a fall back in the event 1/32 dries up.
Lots of discussion on the 1/18 forum about if 21C goes under if they will switch to 1/32. If 21C tanks I think that will definitely put a crimp in the smaller scale too. I pour lots of money into collectibles and I would prefer not to have to do it in 1/72. I guess 1/48 is an option but it isn't very deep with Armor.
Perhaps I will have to learn how to use that damned airbursh and build my own.

Hi,
There seemed to be some movement in the line about a year and a half ago when they intended to come out with some interesting variants of existing molds. Virtually all of them were cancelled before they saw the light of day. With the IHobby Expo next month, and some people expecting to see Corgi's 2009 catalogue, there could be a reemergence of the line, although its anyone's guess if this will come true.
