Does Target.com sell enthusiast?

Post by Ruger » Sun Jul 27, 2008 7:01 pm

I was searching around and found myself on Target.com, a place I've been before. I noticed then, as I did now, that some of their FOV items seem to be Enthusiast Grade. Most notably, they have things that were never released as Action series, like the Green camo M1A1, and the Zundapp. I recall in the past hey had the Iraqi T-72 as well. The Bradley they offer seems to be Enthusiast. The prices are too high to be Action, but reasonable for Enthusiast.

Does anyone know all about this? Check it out HERE

"When I went into Kuwait I had 39 tanks, after six weeks of air bombardment, I had 32 left. After 20 minutes in action against the M1's, I had none." Iraqi BN Cdr, 1991

yes, those are enthusiast versions

what is interesting is what i discovered and it was covered in another thread about finding enthusiast versions in action series boxes.

I was at my supertarget and saw the newest US half track with the extra soldier, ya know one with a bazooka?
Well this is a 2007 release and I had yet to buy it. I got to looking at it and well...it wasn't action
the soldiers were detailed and painted with washes the HT was weathered all the extras were there and baseplate. It was the enthusiast HT. In fact I bought it and compared the HT and gunner to the S1 HT without the assault troops, yep...identical. Enthusiast for 19.95

but I wouldn't go waiting to see that yellow stripe panther show up in a target aisle, all those are probably online order only, what I am talking about is a rarity, sort of an easter egg if you will
