It appears the Official 'Forces of Valor' site has been updated now to include the much anticipated 'Micro Military' lineup of 1:72 vehicles, aircraft, and soldiers. The big surprise, though are the 1:32 Warbirds!!! Check out that Mk IX Spitfire!

New 2005 FOV 1:32 Lineup

Very nice models! I start to save money to buy them all, but... I can notice some errors. One of the Mk. IX Spitfires (Normandy, 134 Wing) is really the Mk. IIB or Mk. VB version: look at the three blade propeller, the exhaust pipes, the armament. The 1940 Hurricane (Battle of France) should be a Mk. IA version with 8 machine guns and probably two blade propeller. The model is really a later Mk. IIC with 4 cannons. Why does the "Battle of France Lineup" contain both the 1940 and 1944 models? There is the Polish proverb: the spoon of tar in the barrel of honey...
Best regards

I hope we get a more "British" looking Spitfire and I wonder how the costs will compare with the Corgi 1:32 aircraft. My guess is we will get a similar bang for much less buck, but then you never know.

Take a look in the action series, not in the enthusiast series.

$24.95 for a highly detailed 1:32 WWII aircraft, as these FOV planes are looking to be, will certainly be a steal! That Spitfire pictured in an earlier post blows away any of the current 21c 32x aircraft and look more comprable to those made by Corgi. Quality for a decent price is always a good thing!

Yes, but does this mean that once the first series is out and FOV sees the demand, they will jack the price up on the second releases?? Like they did with the 1/32 vehicles???
