Haven't heard a thing. 21c was far, far better about getting repaints of their P-51B/C out and in number. I've only seen the "Mrs. Bonnie" P-51D and the RAF P-51D and they came at long intervals to one another. "Mrs. Bonnie" was gawdy-looking and the RAF plane is great, but I'm anxious to find "Double Nuthin" as well. It has the best scheme of the three, in my book. I'd like to find that as well as the 32x Spitfire, but they're probably on a Wal Mart truck heading from a west coast port to a midwest distribution center, where I'll never see them in my neck of the woods for many months to come, if at all

I saw a few Bonnie's months ago but even though I really want a natural aluminum D model it was just to ugly a bird for me to buy. Other than that I've only seen truck loads of RAF shark mouths.

I have to tell you that our wee lass Bonnie does grow on you after a while. OK, quite a while, but grow she does.

That
is true... I got that plane because it came out first and originally planned return it when "Double Nuthin" showed up. I've decided not to do that now, so "Mrs. Bonnie" must have grown on me somewhat. The RAF P-51 is very much a keeper, however

Yeah, I have a Shark Mouth hanging. It's cool to see a P-51D in RAF cammo.

For some reason I like the Polish RAF "C" much better than the RAF "D" which seems a little plain to me. I almost wish they would revisit some of the great ace schemes in the new tooling. I loved the old releases but the tooling is really dated now.
Man, I can't believe I am wishing for more repaints of the same. This whole toy slow down really stinks.

Somehow 1/144 trucks don't seem to do it for me.

I loved Bonnie from the start...tastes vary, but my local WMs had no trouble moving their allotment...

SUPERSONIFIFI:
Target is a chain store similar to Wal-Mart. It also sells via the internet--I got my BBI 1/18 P-51 "Donald Duck" from Target.com on sale.

hworth18 - That's pretty ironic, since you were the first to find them at Target.

In regards to your weathered version f the mustang, I have not seen no weathered here and I have seen a bunch of those checkertails,
bu i did notice this, when I was looking at he 21t website right now i went back a few months (jan 08) to the story on the new playset being released (operation torch etc) well if you look at the Panther pictured there for the Playset, it looks pretty good. It has washes on it and the track look like they have MIG productions rust pigments on them, but I know (, ad if you have looked at that playset, that the panther is OT weathered at all. So maybe they spruce them up a bit on the website.
I will say the new 38t and marder have washes and more weathering on them, just an ochre wash, makes a world of difference, but still maybe...

Every Kursk playset Panther I see has awful brush marks on the front hull. In exactly the same spot on each model. Also on the circular hatch on the rae of the turret. Strange. I wanted to pick another one up but that turns me away.
As for Double Nuthin, we still got "nuthin'" in the way of 21st at Target.

yep same here
if i knew everyone wanted the russian soldiers that came with it, I would buy the set to do repaints on the tank since I have yet to repaint a Panther for either FoV or 21stC
I just cannot tell the detail quality of the panther by looking in the box, it appears as if all the tools are enaged to the plastic and look like they have been bubble wrapped to the surface of the tank, would still be able to pull off a nice repaint, but with better versions out there and not having to find a home for the same 5 Russians over and over (like the 30 generals with arms clasped behind back and 50 guys doing a lunging Tarzan yell)
I guess if I get desperate for panthers to paint and all the other versions become rare and OOP I will stick with these playset tanks and just give the soldiers to small children and dogs to play with. I have enough soldiers here i don't need. I want to sell all my FoV figures and only keep the medic and prisoners with GI guards since they are not musclebound smudge faces like the rest.

Same here. The Medic and prisoner packs are the only FOV figs I have kept. The rest are all a bunch of bendy Gumbys. I would really like a totally new-tool Panther from 21st made to the same quality as the Marder series, but I would be happy with some single pack repaints. I too have more than enough insane Ivan's from the Kursk playsets I've bought.
