I'll be at disney for about a week and wonder if there are any yellow 11s and hungarian fws, spits, p-51ds other than RAF around- Oh, what the hell, what kind of 1/18th, too.

mikeg -

You'll have to cross the entirety of Orlando to get to that WM from the Disney area, and traffic can get very slow and hot there. There should be a Target and a TRU at the Florida Mall in the SW part of town, closer to where you will most likely be.

There are actually quite a number of TRU/Target/WM in the greater Orlando area if you include Ocoee, Longwood, Maitland, Altamonte Springs, etc. The problem is they are very spread out.

I just got back from disneyworld today- had a really great time, we were there on a four day package plane at the pop century resort. We found time to do almost all the rides and see the shows at the 4 parks-

ANYWAY- with the inlaws and immediate family around, the only walmart I saw was off I-4 a bit south of Orlando and north of DW- No action in orlando. I stopped at two walmarts between Ocala and Leesburg while at the father-in-laws place. The only find of the trip was here- the 1/144th set of the old crow P-51 and red 19 fw. I told my son I already had them, he said I did not; I bought them anyway. When we got home, I found my son was right...

Heh, I know those WalMarts well and they usually disappoint. The Target in that area (The Villages, a senior big bucks megapolis) is a bit upper scale and I've found lots of FOV and Star Wars stuff there but as for 21st, the area is a deadzone.

The Villages was the one that got all smacked around by tornadoes not too long ago, right? Last summer I think. Drove through on our way to Winter Park for my sister-in-law's wedding back in December but didn't get to stop at any of the stores on 441 from Gainesville to Orlando. Seems from what has been said that I didn't miss a thing.

On a positive note- being away from Atlanta for a week means---------
check TRU- alpharetta, buckhead, kennesaw
check WMs- smyrna east west connector x2, marietta x2, kennesaw, howell mill, perimeter mall, alph. and windward pkwy.

The thrill of the hunt still beckons
