Thank you- I think of all the figures I collect, that the MacFarlane's are the best deal going out there- they are just so authentic looking and can pose up really well together. Sure, the range of articulation is somewhat limited, but at $11 a clip, you can buy a couple and customize if need be.Col.Pickle wrote:Amazing! The goggle-effect with the Macfarlane's is incredible!

That's really cool. I love the night vision effect. Very well done. Photoshop? I have an idea of how you did it. I'll see if I can copy using these steps:
Desaturate
Lighting Effects : Omni in green

Added noise, and de-interlaced even fields. Try that, if you're using Photoshop. It's very convincing. If you can see eyes up close, use a very small, medium opacity soft brush in white to highlight them. Or use a lens flare and tone it down. It's hard to do but I'm sure it could almost be real. I couldn't figure out the border, so you got me on that one.
I just used an omni for my dark edges.

This one I did:
Desaturate
Lighting effects, omni, green
Lighting effects, omni, white (to get that infared glow)
Noise, gaussian, 8.75%
Texture, grain, horizontal, and changed the parameters around until it looked good.
All it takes. I figured it out quite quickly. Thanks for the idea man, I'll be using this.
But your applications are better, I don't have any modern figures, one lonely Platoon guy is close though.
