Who thinks this model will be Enthusiast Edition only? Personally, I hope to see this in the Action series on a shelf at Target. What are the odds?

I would like to see it in both Enthusiast Edition and action.

My large gut tells me this will be the only '08 release to see Action series release. I sure hope so because I refuse to pay $80 shipped for a 1/32 piece, nevertheless a truck.

(arms akimbo with stern look on oliface)

Crap, and the 1/18 only guys b$tch about a 1/18 Tiger at this price.

I'm sure hoping for Action series. I prefer Action for most everything, but when it comes to trucks, one isn't enough. You need a convoy, and at $80 a pop, I can't afford much of a convoy. It would be hard enough at $25 each to form up a really good one.

No way will I blow eighty bucks on a truck no matter how bad I want it.

EIGHTY BUCKS???? Where did this come from? My local guy (a train store that gets a little FoV) stated the price would be $49.99. That's steep for a truck IMHO bit I'll get one immediately and maybe another one later.

Yeah I saw the gray kit for frickin' $10 once at a Wal-Mart and passed it up! I regret that. At the time I didn't plan on dioramas, and such, and it didn't strike me as a necessity. Now, I would by it in a heartbeat. :)

But I hope the Deuce comes in Action grade. What a great truck. I don't know why FOV has to limit some items to only Enthusiast. It bothers me, I really can't justify spending $40-$80 on a toy in 1:32. That's why I don't buy K&C. That's why I don't buy Enthusiast. The only Enthusiast I have was in an Action box, and I couldn't pass it up. Besides, I like making my tanks my own. Whether they look great or not, I'm still learning.

I'll have to check the other threads, I think the Elefant is only Enthusiast. Which bites, but then again, it IS a masterpiece. But still, I'd rather see it in both, so I can compare in person, and really truly decide if it's worth my extra money.

Yeah, where does 80 come from? Mich toy says it is 64 dollars:

Although I have to admit, 64 is still quite high for a truck especially since I agree with y'all sentiments that one truck is lame you need at least 2 or 3.

Yeah, I love my Opel, now I just wish I could find more of the desert kit ones. I suppose I could buy the pre-built ones and tear them apart to build them up customized like my other, but I wish I could find the kits.

If the FOV truck goes for too high a price, my convoys might find themselves rolling quite a few 1941 Chevy trucks, like the ones mentioned HERE. I have two of those trucks already in different schemes, and I keep seeing them pop up for <$15. They'll work fine for WWII stuff, harder to work into a modern setting, but then, so is the deuce an' a half. I keep meaning to pick up a FOV HIMARS to see how hard it would be to turn into a general purpose cargo truck...

Well from my local toy soldier shop I will probably get these for about $54 thats with a discount. But still quite high if you gonna be buying at least 3 trucks.

Do you mean the twin packs? I think those have come and gone, replaced by the vehicle/figure packs so I would be surprised to see them again.
