How soon until we see any 1:32 MiG jets?

Pre-built, and affordable? I am a huge fan of MiGs and the paintschemes are endless, along with countries of service. They must be one of the most succesful fighter jets to rule the skies, when you've been flown by nearly every country on Earth. I wouldn't believe the day they make an affordable MiG-29, and I think I would shed a tear. A MiG-21, on the other hand, is much closer at hand, in either 1:32 or 1:18, and I'll take both.

But how soon till we see anything from BBI, 21c, etc? As in MiG-15 to MiG-31? A Flanker would be sweet too. Yet amazingly huge. I know there's so many subjects to go, it's almost as if I should start building kits, but the day I walk into a store and can buy a big MiG right off the shelf...

When?

Well, if the recent boom in 1:32 American jets is any indicator, I'd say you should be seeing something by the first of Octember. It might be a little longer than that, but I wouldn't think much...

Patience AS, patience!

BBI just threw their hat in the 1/32 ring late last year and it seems they are going to support the line with the Phanom, very soon to come Dauntless and Wildcat and the planned Starfighter.

My guess is they will continue to focus at least in part on jets. 21C has a huge start on them in the WWII arena. There are only a handful of potential single engine WWII aircraft the casual public would know of (Hurrican, Hellcat, Aircobra, Tempest) that remain to be built. I think the future will be jets and multi-engine WWII planes. Good days for us 1/32 collectors. :D

One exciting point is if BBI can make 1/32 planes in a cost effective manner without major box store support they may be able to branch out into less well known AC like IXO has done in 1/72. How cool would that be? 8)
