I am thinking of getting a 32nd scale Hobby Master SDB Dauntless model. I like the CV-2 paint scheme with the yellow wings. I know this scheme is not out yet, but did anyone get the first version? I am wondering if you think it is worth the money. I know BBI has one coming out soon, but I love those pre-war paint schemes like the Hobby Master model has.

I got the first version (and was lucky to snag it @ $125 on e-bay)...the paint job is utterly flawless, the detail excellent, parts fit tightly, and it is a hefty beast which is what you expect when shelling out big bux for diecast...the weak link is the crew, who are good but not great, but how much of them do you see in the cockpit anyway...as to whether it's worth the money, value is in the eye of the beholder... :) but I'm real happy with mine, there are definitely worse ways to burn up your stimulus check...
