Yesterday I saw the 1/144 scale Jugs, a razorback and a D model. I have not seen these before but up here in the GNW we tend to be a few years behind the curve in WM distribution.
Is this a first sighting or did I miss the threads six months ago?

Damn.... lured by false advertising.
OK, how's this for a great pair of Jugs?

Actually, Olifant, I think your sighting is rather new. They have been spotted before (in the midwest, I think) but it was relatively recent.

In a rare fit of sanity I decided NOT to collect the 1/144 birds so I did not get any of these, but hopefully this means they are on their way to a WM near you.
I prefer my jugs a little...larger.

I saw both of these at the WM in McDonough, GA just a couple of days ago. I don't collect 1:144 but I've been thinking about getting some to hang from my 9 yr old sons ceiling. Considering how small they are I could probably have quite a furball going on up there. Are the landing gear retractable or are they fixed permanently in the down position?

I think they're always down, I'm not sure.

Landing gear is down.
Sometimes they're not even on straight.
For S&Gs I picked up a P-51 & Fw-190 a few months ago. The landing gear on the 190 was rotated by 45 degrees.
IMO, 144 is not the best product from 21C.

Still no sign of the Jugs or new paint Spitfire/FW 190 dogfight set around here
