It appears as if Easy Model is getting its act in gear for 2008. Earlier today, the Company posted an image of their first-ever M1126 Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle, a ground-based weapons system seeing much use today in the Iraqi Theatre of Operations. Crafted out of plastic in 1:72 scale, this hyper-realistic replica looks like a keeper, and hopefully a harbinger of more Stryker variants in the months to come.....[posted 4/19/2008]

I have always wondered how, apart from simple appearances, these differ from LAV-25s.

From what I've read, the LAV-25 represents one of the first steps in the evolution of the MOWAG Pirahna line originally developed by the Swiss and eventually purchased by GM Defense (now General Dynamics Land Systems) - the Stryker is a development of the LAV III. The Stryker is a highly evolved and much more expensive descendant.

If the quality is good enough I'll be adding one of these to my collection... and then I'll throw it out once Dragon comes out with their own version with photo-etched slat armour ;)
