New Dragon Limited Edition Tanks

Post by lightning2000 » Thu Feb 24, 2005 5:55 am

Hello All,
While we're taking a few days off, we did notice that Dragon posted three new limited edition tanks on their site: a Tiger I based on SSSPzAbt. 101, a Maus super heavy tank and an E-100 super heavy tank. All come with nice little dioramas and backdrops. Pretty cool...

They look great, though I'm hesitant to place an order when I stil have 6 tanks on order, yet to be delivered.

Any idea when the Wittmann "Ace & Glory" and "Zitadelle" tanks ship?

The Kubinka Maus is an interesting approach. At least this way, the collectors who don't want "fantasy" presentations can pick up a Maus.

I wonder if they'll sell them at the Kubinka museum?

I just ordered them, no such problems. Still available.

BTW, I'm glad they institued the new 24-hour grace period, whereby if you screw up and select the wrong shipping, you can still modify your order or cancel.

CH Customer Service...it's not much...but it's a welcome start.

Very cool looking tanks! I may have to think about diving into the 1/32 scale. :D

Wow, you're not kidding! They must've only had 500 or so. The only ones to sell out this fast were the 500 Limited Wittman and maybe the Otto Carius. It's just been 2-3 days.

Glad I was lucky enough to get one in time, I had no idea it'd be gone so fast.

The Zitadelle hasn't even arrived yet, but I can tell it will be one of my favorites. Any idea when they start shipping that out?
