Does that say "Tiki" on the front of the hull? What's the history behind that? Cool looking paint scheme, gonna have to get this one!

Great looking Tiger! I like the way the tracks seem to stay flat on top of the wheels.

I like the way the tracks seem to stay flat on top of the wheels.
Me too, Dragon started adding a clip that holds down the tracks to give it that weighted look a couple of Tigers ago. Really improves it IMO.
BTW, this is one of my favorite Dragon Armor Tigers releases (along with 60001, Otto Carius, and the mid-production 509 Tiger)

A very famous Tiger of sSSPzAbt.102, 2.SS Panzergrenadier Division "Das Reich"; "TIKI" was a diminutive for Tiger.

Just noticed that the new Tiger has a die-cast turret - they have been doing plastic for a while, I think. Very impressive tank.

The first 2 Dragon releases (both Early Tigers as well) had the metal turrets. The only ones w/o the metal turrets, I believe, are the Zimmermit Tigers.
