Lonesentry is a great site, I've been visiting there for years, I only wish some of the stuff was in a downloadable format (ie. Adobe PDF) but there is tons of good information there. Sadly, the site has not been updated with anything new in quite some time, the guy probably has a real life and a real job...LOL   but seriously..it's a great site and I highly recommend it, and the Hetzer pics should be very useful for anyone who wants to make their own MG mount and shield, thanks for posting them.

I'm hoping for an MG as well. Great site, I will have to spend some time reading through it! 8)

anyone know if it's a early/mid/late model Hetzer

a early could be missing the MG for the simple fact there was a shortage in the beginning with the remote mounts..this also effected late model StuG III ausf. Gs...and the solution was to bolt a circle of steel over the hole for the mount until a MG could be sourced for the AFV.
