Receive this morning models from http://www.themotorpool.net/ and, undoubtedly, they're great! The year 2008 does not even have two months and already four new models _ congratulations!

It is financially interesting for 21C to make several models on the same frame, hope they will continue their series on the basis of PzKw IV _ Nasshorn, Hummel and Jagdpanzer IV are requested!

Hi,
I couldnt agree more and the second versions (re-paints) are already in the pipeline for these four vehicles. Two were shown at last week's Toy Fair.

Like the Panzer IV chassis (which featured a myriad of conversion vehicles offered by 21st), I can see them doing this more and more as they will most likely concentrate more of the energies in the smaller scale markets. For instance, I think you can expect to see Churchill variations, Panzer III, T-34 and Sherman variants down the road as more "families" of vehicles become the strategem going forward instead of a billion repaints of one specific vehicle. Afterwards, repaints will probably be offered as "families", which makes their promotion, sales and collectibility much easier from a number of standpoints.

These are beautiful models and it appears that 21C struck gold with all four of the releases.

Lightning, I only hope you are correct with your insight. A Churchill and T-34(41) would be wonderful. Think of the versions we could get! (pant pant)

Man, I would love to see that happen. Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way disappointed with recent 32X armor releases, but I think some Soviet armor from 21C is long overdue, and would be a good seller. One thing that might be causing 21st to shy away from T-34's and other Russian tanks is the relatively limited possibilities for repaints, because the Soviets really had only two basic color schemes, green for summer and white for winter.

I would think that if 21st did do Soviet stuff they could do camo vesions as well. The majority of sells tend to go to a kid that walks by the shelf and thinks cool tank! Collectors or purist may not be fond but even then I have seen my fair share of soviet cammo paint jobs!

Either way I think 21st did a great job here, now lets hope they decide to beat FOV to the punch with a US cargo truck, after all they had one ready to go four years ago!

someone else saw that 21st Century U.S. truck four years ago that has never been heard of since. also the kv1 chassis has alot of possibilities too

Hi,
I think there would be plenty of camo schemes to choose from if they started doing some Russian armor, choices that are beyond just the standard green and whitewashed winter spray. Dragon has demonstrated a myriad of patterns, largely with some earth tones added.

If they can keep up the fidelity, maintain the price point, and put more product in the pipeline, they really could set the 1:32 scale range ablaze.
