New FW190A Yellow 11 review w/ pics

I received this new paint scheme FW190 from hworth18 today. Thank you Harry!
My assumption is that everyone here is familiar with the new 21C FW190A/F, wo I will just give this a quick overview.
High notes are incredible detail, perfect paint job, working flaps that open to almost 90 degrees and an opening canopy with no visible slots. I really like the way the props are mounted to silver painted fittings on the propeller spinner. I don't know the history of this plane but to my eyes it really captures the look of a Luftwaffe fighter circa 1943 before things really went South for the Germans.
Opportunites for improvement are extremely limited; this model looks like it was pre-assembled and painted by Dragon. My only feedback is on both my butcher birds I managed to break the circular antennae trying to get it off the sprue tree.

I am sure we can attribute this to my sausage fingers rather than a failing on 21C's part.
Enjoy the pics! I also had to enclose one of my 1/32 BMC LVT and a poorly done Sherman calliope mod...Enjoy!

Looks like I'm going to have to put one of my birds back in its box.
Btw, nice attempt at a Calliope Olifant.

Awesome looking FW-190! I'm glad I've got one coming from a fellow boardmember, and hopefully it arrives in one piece

The paintscheme looks great, easily one of the best for the 190A/F so far.

Nice review! Good pics too!
BTW I don't know what you're talking about: the calliope mod is great looking! What did you use for the tubes?

Thanks Colonel, but it really is terribly done. The tubes are done with...plastic drinking straws.

I am rather proud of the amtrack though.

Did you put those swastikas on, or did they actually come with the plane this time?

No nooker, I always put them on prior to hanging. Sorry, I should have mentioned this.

Just got the above aircraft from our fellow board member Warhawker. I love the scheme and unless 21c makes another version with a highly decorative cowling (ie with stripes or checkers) then I'm not in need of another FW-190

How can anyone stop with just two?

I already have the two "F" versions, but if I see another version, I'll probably get it as that's always what I seem to do

Nice scheme.....OTHER than through former members, etc., where can this Fw-190A be purchased? Thanks, and Saberfan asked if someone could get one for him. I did not see any responses to his plea.

Harry,
You always come through....I have lost count of how many times you have helped me! Congrats, Paul....I can't wait to find this scheme locally, (I hope

).
This scheme is really interesting in that the pilot went MIA in 20July44...check this link out for more/additional pix and info....
