Small Scale Military Headquarters

* Who is interested in WWI , in 1/32nd scale in particular , in this Forum ?

* ...... Because I am , and I do have 3 interesting tanks. Except figures and aircraft , yet , that I plan to get for a little diorama display.

* I have a British Mark IV "Tadpole" tank and (two) = [+] German A7V type tanks. They are highly detailed , plastic , Ltd. vehicles , made by The Weston Toy Co. , UK. *

I'd actually be interested in WWI infantry, especially a bunch of French in Horizon blue...

[+] > It has 7 guns in all. 2-MG's on ea. side + 2 more in the rear of the tank , and a 57mm main-gun mounted in the nose. All are co-axially mounted so you can move all the guns around. It's like that on the Mark IV "Tadpole" too.

[+] > I'm quite impressed w/ these and they can easily be painted. They have a textured surface , so painting them up would be a breeze too.

* They really have to be seen in person to truly be appreciated. These are the most finely detailed (plastic) pieces that I have ever come across. They are truly in a class by themselves and a work of art at that.
The engineering that went into these is fantastic.

w britain have quite an excellant range of WW1 1/32 figures.

Painted pewter so not cheap but the quality is pretty good.

Love WW 1 stuff...wish there was more of it.

I like World War 1 and I would collect them also. Where did you get these tanks?

I have the Tadpole and the AV7 too. Emhar makes WW1 tank kits in 1:32 at fairly rerasonable prices. I bought a "hemaphrodite" British tank kit from them. They also have the female and male tanks, as well as the later "Whippet". They also make WW1 artillery kits that are pretty simple to assemble. I have a German and British field gun they make.

Armies in Plastic makes all the WW1 figures you could ever want. They have Brits,Brit Highlanders, US, French, German with steel helmets and Germans with picklehaubs and even Russians. They also came out with Indian infantry troops as a start for the British Colonial troops line.

Britians World War 1 figures are quite nice I have to say! But do not need to step into that era.
