Close - it is on the bbi website in detailWow, thats just dandy, now just where the hell is my Dauntless???
BBI seems to be doing AC in 1:32 that have not been done in 1/18.The Wildcat is great and all but why not the Hellcat which was a war winning aircraft that shot down more planes than any other US Navy aircraft in the Pacific.
The F4 has removable gears instead of retractable. This should solve that problem. Also, the Wildcat has a super fragile landing gear arrangement, how is this going to be handled so it doesn't break right out of the box?
Well, that stinks about not doing AC in 1:32 that they did in 1:18. They assume I guesss that most of us collect both scales? Hopefully 21st will grab the Hellcat. I am really looking forward to the Dauntless, I'm happy to see it is still on track. Also, after posting about the Wildcat's gear I thought about the optional up/down pieces on many 1:72 aircraft. That would work well and to tell the truth I'd really like to see it handled that way for all 1:32 aircraft. You can make much more realistic looking and sized landing gear and wheels/tires if you don't have to worry about getting them to retract.digger wrote:Close - it is on the bbi website in detailWow, thats just dandy, now just where the hell is my Dauntless???
