Preferred next 21C 1/32 figure set

Post by olifant » Sun Jan 13, 2008 9:29 pm

I recently received some old 21C AFVs that came in the bubble packs from WM. I realized that not only did armor used to come with figures, but these each has 3!

My preference for new figures would be tank crews and riders. Soviet infantry to go with the soon to come T-34C...(humming "Dreamweaver")

Wieslaw, I thought of you with the early '39-40 figures!

my vote for tank riders...

Post by binder001 » Mon Jan 14, 2008 7:48 am

I think we need some US tank riders to go with the US armor that is available. Further, some new US tankers would be nice as well.

I want British Paras, or at least basic British European infantry to go along with my firefly.

I'd like the USMC figures pictured on a box-back so long ago. The tank crew/riders would be a very close second, especially as most 21c armored vehicles do not come with figures anymore...

Tank riders & crew would kick a$$... that is, if they fit 21C and Forces of Valor tanks.

I can't believe the S2 Chinese aren't very popular...

Sorry fellas, I didn't even think about paras from any country. I did want to include '39-40 Poles, Belgians, French etc. but I think I exceeded the amount of poll Pole?) options.

Gotta have some USMC figures to go up against the Japanese figures that have been previously released. Putting together an Iwo Jima set-up would be outstanding! :)
It is what it is.

I'm drooling right now at the possibility of some of these. I'd actually like some different Russian poses whether they be riders or just plain infantrymen (I'm going through a soviet phase)

Para's not on the list? Kills me to think that 21st actually went out and made Chinese infantry....

Maybe they can face the Japanese???? The Brits and USMC should be good to go, at least we know the masters are done?

Would prefer US and German Paras. US rangers or infantry on Omaha, but voted tank crews and riders... although at this point convincing FOV to sell their figures seperatly would be more likely! Pleanty of riders and crews??

I think when 21st first came out they were all about 32x like the old school marx playsets. Figures accessories tanks etc the whole bag! Even their old previews led on more figures buildings accessories etc and the play sets... now unfortuanatly I see them as a modle company only.

Engineers, some of them were turned into "Sturm" (storm) units for urban combat. Think Stalingrad house to house specialists. They tended to get chewed up pretty quickly...
