My bet is that they are made of styro-foam
Hmmm.... well, it's not like any styrofoam I have ever seen. It's not polystone, which is quite heavy by comparison. It could well be a "type" of styrofoam, but whatever it is it's some kind of resin that is poured into a mold. It's relatively lightweight, but rather dense at the same time, what I mean by that is with any styrofoam I've ever encountered you can literally push your finger in to it and make a "dent", but you can't do that with this stuff, whatever it is...hopefully I've thouroughly confused you by now...LOLL!
Hey Guys....UPDATE: I checked their site and the material is "High Density Urethane Foam" Heck, I dunno...I'm not a polymer chemist, but the stuff is both lightweight and hard at the same time.

Isn't that the same stuff the Professor made to fix the hole in the boat, but Gilligan used it for syrup on the pancakes(where do you get stuff to make pancakes on a desert isle?)???

The neat thing is, you could probably make this stuff (or something similar) on a desert island.

Could you post some pics of the row house with vehicles beside it for scale? Also if you have any other figures could you put them in it as FOV figures are kinda more 1/35 and I'd like to see how the building looks with true 1/32. Thanks alot!

Here is a pic with the row house, an FOV T-34 with commander figure in the hatch, a 21st gunner figure, a 21st German officer standing in doorway, and an FOV Airborne figure from the previous pics. I really don't want to start a debate about scale but if anything the FOV figure appears a tiny bit larger than the 21st figures, so I see no reason to believe he's anything but 1:32 scale, I have some Dragon 1:35 Can-do figures around here someplace and they look like 12 yr. old kids (noticeably smaller) standing next to 1:32 figs from 21st or FOV. One thing worth mentioning is the FOV tankers ARE somewhat smaller than the regular 21st 1:32 figs, probably so they will fit into hatches easily, and maybe this is where you thought they were closer to 1:35 scale

GRRRR stupid red X is all that's showing up for this one. Anyway I guess your right they are bigger than true 1/35 soldiers but when you compare then to W.Britains stuff then they look pretty small.

Now Ladies and Germs, for the first time here our island stage, the ONE the ONLY Rowsdower!!!!!!
"I just flew onto the island, boy are my arms tired! They just don't make those jet packs the way they use to. I almost ran into Wrongway Feldman, a robot and a space capsule filled with Russians. I like to take you all home, but that would ruin your show. Besides, there more guest stars to parade on this island than a love boat!"

Urethane is what skateboard wheels are made out of.

So it must be some pretty tough stuff...

Looking at your pics has really made me want to buy that row house, but on the Hobby Bunker website the only item that I could find matching your description was $50. Is it the exact same thing, because you mentioned that the one you bought was 40 dollars. Here's a link to what I found.

Yeah that's the one. I don't have my invoice around anymore but I think I paid $45 for it, must have been on sale or something, I honestly can't remember. If you decide to order be patient, they sometimes have these "backordered" because they hand paint each one and if they have a big batch ordered it can take awhile. Even so, I think it's worth the wait, I'm very pleased with mine.

One thing I noticed too is that many of the pieces are offered in unpainted versions as well, and you could save yourself some scratch that way if you feel like painting your own, dunno if that's the case with the row house, but it might be worth checking if you are inclined to paint it yourself.
