I found those today as well
Its funny, but I'm seeing more and more entusiast vehicles being packaged in action grade boxes and sold at mass retail. To settle the debate on whether these actually are Enthusiast grade or not, the extra weathering is usually a giveaway, but the inclusion of more accessories and the trading card are sure indicators. Within the past year I've found the following FOV Enthusiast vehicles at either TRU or Target:
Kingtiger (Normandy 1944)
Tiger (Normandy 1944)
Kanonenwagen (Hungary 1945)
LAV-25 (Baghdad 2003)
M1 Abrams (Kuwait 1991)
MLRS vehicle (Baghdad 2003)
AH-64D Longbow (Baghdad 2003) -- that one may have been a fluke
M3 Halftrack (Normandy 1944)
Schwimmwagen
Amphibian
I'd like to know what's up with all this, but it sure was nice to save $10 or more on alot of those items

I also found an Enthusiast Normandy King Tiger at Target. Wish they would do it a bit more often!

I found the Enthusiast British M3 Grant "Robin Hood II " @ TARGET
in an Action grade box for $19.99 , as well as some of the others mentioned @ TRU too. *
* I picked up the Enthusiast "Schwimmwagen" , Eastern Front version , in an Action grade box for $10.oo @ TRU as well as some of the Enthusiast grade figure sets like , the one w/ the "Medic" and the "Prisoners" , cheap. *
* I think this is just part of FoV's strategy to help get rid of some of their overstock. Which is real good for collectors such as ourselves.

I think you might be right.

I'm hitting Target when the doors open at 8 Sunday morning. Hopefully I will find some FOV and/or Star Wars goodness on the shelves.

I have a question. I was at a local army surplus picking up some patches, and he had some enthusiast grade tanks, the Italy 1944 Stug III and some Sherman. He was selling them for $30 even. Is that a good deal, or is it regular price? He also has a 1:18 Tiger for $50, and a DAK 1:32 King Tiger and I don't know how much it is. In the back he has a 1:18 Stuka in the solid green splinter with the shield on the nose. He wants $60, but I can get one MIB for that price at a local hobby shop.

That's about right Alloy , those pri¢e$ are competitive , maybe about $5.oo bucks too high for the StuG and Sherman but overall , still competitive though. *
* I'd probably go for it , if I wanted them bad enough.

I found the enthusiast Lee in an Action box today. It was kind if interesting. They had the regular Action Lee and sitting right next to it was the one I got, so I was able to directly compare the two.
The were not in the same sized box! The regular Action model was in a smaller box, and had no model information attached to the black base/stand. The Enthusiast was in an Action box but it was a larger box, and the stand does have the label tag.
More importantly, the Enthusiast simply had much better weathering.
Best of all, it was on sale in this store for $17.99!

I haven't been hunting in awhile... I've been waiting for post-nightmare/Christmas re-stocking. I hope WM has the FW-190Fs! That and I need some more armor...
