New 1/144 Airplanes

When I was out "window shopping" yesterday I saw some new 1/144 airplanes in Toys R Us. There's a new twin pack with the ME-262 and a Spitfire. I almost bought it but the Spitfire was PINK. I'm going to wait for a more "traditional" paint scheme.

They did a Recce Spitfire?? That sux.... Oh well, when the repaint comes out, I will be all over 6 of them!!

I looked it up and the pink was used for recon. They felt it blended in with the clouds better. Not the first color scheme I would have picked for that particular plane, but now that I know it wasn't a mistake, I'll probably pick up a couple.

Those have been out for weeks now - at least in my area. I posted pictures in another thread a while back

i think the Photo Recon came in Blue opr pink!!?
