Small Scale Military Headquarters

Since i have started collecting both 1/18 and 1/32 i have had some trouble with knowledge of this scale. I am only going to collect the armor and a few planes and buildings. So my quistion is that is the jagdpanzer worth getting? I mean it looks good but i was wondering is it a must have for any 1/32 armor collector? So if anyone could help me id greatly appreciate it.

There is no Jagdpanzer in pre-built 1:32nd scale yet... There are, however, a Jagdpanther and Jagdtiger that are made by 21c and a Jagdpanther made by FOV. The FOV Jagdpanther is one of that line's best 1:32 tanks. The 21c Jagdpanther is also pretty good, but again, nothing compared to the FOV version. Now we get to the Jagdtiger, the only one of which is made by 21c. This is a nice tank, with the typical 21c level of detail and weathering, and its sort of a unique piece. Hope this helps a little

Now that WILL be a must have for armor guys, no doubt about it. Presuming he's talking about a 1:32 Jagdpanther...I would say it is also a must have, the 21st model of this TD is long OOP and fairly difficult to find, but still shows up at ebay now and then, but the fOV version is still readily available as far as I know. If it's a Jagdtiger he's after, I would get at least one of those too.

Woops i think i got the names mixed up. The one i saw at tru the other day was a new release. So i guess it was a jagdtiger.

Yeah the Jagdtiger is real nice. I wish they would make a jagdpanzer though!

Jagdpanzer IV will be fine, indeed... but no projects in this direction to my knowledge

I have the FOV jagdpanther and StugIII and the 21C jagdtiger and StugIV. I think the FOV model is pretty darn sweet and by far the best of breed of the german TD/Assault guns out to date. Sometimes you can pick these up on e-bay for $30+/- with shipping.

Guess ill have to pick one up on the after christmas sale But im still waiting for the sightings of those panzer 38t's and the marder 111. Now those i will have to stock up on

I have the FOV Germany 1944 Jagdpanther. I've had it for months but just took it out of the box a few days ago and I agree that it is a top quality model, very cool!.

I have a couple of the 32x and the FOV Jagdpanthers. The 21st one is the better "play" vehicle. It has slight detail issues, but nothing bad. The FOV is very detailed, so you risk losing parts if you "drive" it. It too is very excellent. I repainted my FOV one and use it for a display piece.

The 32x Jagdtiger is also very excellent. It is slightly shorter than the prototype, but very nice all the same. Actually any of the 32x Tigers and Tiger based models are excellent. I like them better than the early FOV vehicle.

The FOV Stug III is probably one of my all around favorites. They "drive" well and they have excellent detail. I have always been partial to Stugs anyway. The 32x Stug IV is a good representative model, again, with some slight detail issues. I find the tracking is poor, especially ith the skirts attached.Hope this helps, I think I covered most of it...

Yup I love my FOV Stugs as well! Even the Action Series Italian front version from Target and TRU is nice, and for under $20 it's great for customs!

I bought a FOV Stug at TRU just for a custom project, but it's growing on me so I might not be able to part with it. It's ok though, my local TRU will aknowledge their pricing errors, but seem opposed to fixing them, so perhaps I'll just pick up another <$10.00 Stug...

Which Stug was it? If it was the new one with the tri-color cammo and the riding figures, you got a very good deal. That version needs weathering, while the tan "Italian" version sometimes doesn't. The FOV Stug III is nevertheless a nice vehicle!

Yeah grab 'em while you can! That happened to me at Target a while back. you can never have too many cheap Stugs!

Oooh, haven't seen one of those yet! This one is sold at TRU? Can't wait until the stores recover after Christmas and some new goodies start coming in.

I saw them at TRU and may have also come across one at Target. I didn't pay too much attention at Target as I was looking for the FOV 1:18 Tiger and various Star Wars figures

I just saw that Stug on the back of my high mobility rocket launcher's box. Looks sweet, I will have to check it out on my next TRU run!
