In my book "The War In The Air" there is a photo of the Italian JU87s. They are in the same sceme as the photo above. The caption for the photo says "the planes (10) were forced down and captured near the Allied Lines in Italy when all the planes ran out of gas. The Italian pilots accused the German ground crews of only half filling the tanks..."

"E" in Italian means "Extra Full" and "F" means "Fumes" according to Schotz and Dooley, the German ground crew members...
BTW that is an interesting avatar, Schizuki. Where is that?, It looks like Penn Station NY to me...
