That is one great looking boondoggle of a tank.

Interesting tank. I didn't know any of them made it to Berlin, from what I read online the E-100 never got past the prototype stage.

It didn't.... Fure fantasy . IMHO a waste of plastic..........

The E100 never actually made it into production, but some Hulls and a turret were made as protoypes for testing.. The Brits captured one of the hulls and took it back to the UK for evaluation.. It is an interesting subject though and like the Panther F that NEVER saw combat, will make a good addition to any collection..

True, I think they even have one of the hulls at Aberdeen.

That new E-100 does look cool even if it never made it to the battlefield. Interesting how the German Army, in particular, Hitler ordered bigger, heavier and slower tanks in hopes to stop the Allies. Makes you wonder what went through his head in thinking these large, gas guzzling monsters would turn the tide. I know history says he was unstable and had wild ideas, but you'd think the success of the Panther and the T-34 would make you just churn out as many as those size tanks as possible and not worry about bigger and "better".

I'll have to add a couple of these to my collection. I think this tank would have suffered the fate of most of the Jagdtigers in that they were basically mobile
pill boxes.Even the local bridges in smaller towns could not support the weight of this beast.
