Dec is coming...and all I got locally is a bunch of 109s finally after a complete 32x dry spell...no P-51b/c yet either. Well no, I saw A B/C at TRU, but wasn't interested in it.

I am keeping my fingers crossed. For once Puget Sound WM distribution worked well as the P-51 B/Cs hit only a few weeks after seeing them on e-bay. My hope is we will see them very soon.

I'm guessing that they are sitting on the dock in partially filled containers just waiting the the 1/18 KT and 88MM to top them off!

Don't hold your breath guys, we've all seen how these things work, especially around Christmas. The only place most of us will see this fighter before January or February is on Ebay for $30 and up.

I was in TRU today. They had a bunch of 190's so I got all excited, but once I got up to them and looked at the box I saw that they were all Doras.

The only 32x aircraft this TRU has carried since 21st came back on board is the P-51B Bullfrog. They must have an endless supply. I did get Shangri-La there but I've never seen any of the other schemes.

Also I spotted one bubble top P-47. Can't recall the name but it had a blue canopy frame and blue nose I believe. I've never seen any 32x P47 before so I was ready to snatch it up until I realized that someone had returned it and didn't bother to put the wings in the right spot on the plastic tray which smashed it up against the top of the box, breaking off the pitot tube and 3 of the MG barrels on one wing. The antennae behind the cockpit was busted off as well.

They didn't even bother to make the box look like it hadn't been opened.

Ah I knew it was something with an E!  such a nice looking Jug, hope I see another one around here, preferably one that hasn't been manhandled back into the box!

On another note, I just returned from WM. They had 15 32x Flying Tiger P-40 B's up on the riser and another 4 on the shelf with the 109's.

 My feelings exactly! For about 6 months now all my area Wallys have been loaded with Bf-109's and the Italian dogfight pack. I've got the natural finish 109 and the Desert 109, I have the Italian pack, and I don't need prehistoric P-40's! Argh!!

Recently all I've seen is P-40s and Tarheel Hal P-47s, and Russian Me-109Fs. It sucks. I want those Fw-190As so bad, I might not survive the harsh Houston winter without them...

Actually....

32xw FW-190s HAVE been released in time fo the holidays, just they are a repaint of the Dora, and from the planes I've seen and reports I've read, most had less-than-perfect paintschemes :?

You mean Yellow 15? I have that one, and it's near perfect. But if you mean the Fw-190A, there's no way they could even think of pulling a repaint of a Dora on an A model.

Lots of old 1/32 21st AC available at one productive walmart. Black 11 F4, yellow 1 g6, yellow 4 f, Black 10 f2, gabler g6. Once you get yours, the rest are old news.
NOW. for the good news; red 3 libyan 109e and berlin express p-51b/c have arrived, about 8 of each, I'll get my pick.
Of course, payday is tomorrow, so I left them one of each of these on the shelf till tomorrow- stay away!!!!!!!!!!!! till saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry that I didn't mention the store...it was Wally World, so you'll only pay 14.95 for it. It really does look nice--very distinct cammo.

Crap! Now I have to go searching Wal Marts again. It would be cool if they're in my area, but there's usually no telling...

Luckily, it wasn't a long search

I found the new 32x FW-190F-8 today :D Its a very nice plane! It has some of the crispest panel detail yet on a 32x aircraft and features a sturdy construction. The paintscheme is striking and there is some weathering present. All landing gear (including the tail wheel) retract and the rudder moves. The cockpit opens to reveal a detailed instrument panel and new pilot figure that is articulated. It comes with an assortment of bombs and their hardpoints. There's also about six different antennas and pitot tubes that come mounted on a plastic tree and which must be inserted on the model. All in all, the FW-190F has better detail than the P-51B/C and is essentially a pre-built plastic model.

No, it does not. I was sort of hoping it would as the fan turns on my tiny Matchbox 1:72 FW-190, but to me its an omission hardly worth worrying about
