FYI, they're having a "Tax-Free" sale this Saturday at their Houston store (otherwise an 8.25% discount). They may be doing this at their other stores too. I'm planning on picking up a few.
Here's what one guy did with his, adding shelves to the unit by welding additional supports. They look great, and for just $58 bucks, not a bad deal.

Wow..they dropped the price a bit!
I mentioned this exact item on GP's board several times when the question concerning "How do I display" came up. As a matter of fact those same pics are from a gentleman who posted them on a 1:18 diecast automobile site I frequent over a year ago, that sold me on that item. Ikea is a great place to find display pieces as are "discount" furniture stores. I've got the best deals on display/curio cabinets from a chain here on the East Coast called Value City Furniture. They have a clearance area and there are always very nice curio/china/whatever cabinets in that section, and usually just missing various pieces of glass (which you can get cut very cheaply at a local hardware store here.) and the prices you can't pass up. I've also purchased display cabinets over the years from stores such as Hallmarks and Ames dept stores when they closed their doors a few years back.
That is a great price on that cabinet, I believe when I purchased the same one over a year and a half ago although mine didn't have the light kit, I had to purchase seperately, was in the neighborhood of $70 and the light kit was $15 I believe.
Quality stuff though!
