THIS MODEL IS AWESOME !

It took me one hour of carefull manipulation to assemble a stunning model !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I now wait enxiously the JSI tomcat : it's a MONSTER since this 1/32 tomcat is all ready BIG !

I was impressed by the way each pieces fit and the clever design. I display mine fully closed but the inside is really nice, the pilots and moving tail + wing are gorgeous !!!!!!

It so nice beside my BBI phantom !

Of course some parts are subject to fall if you do "BARELL ROLL" but this is the only drawback.

GO FOR IT 8)

Hey were you able to get the cockpit to fit flush? There is a gap on mine and it sticks out to the point that it sticks out past the randome.

It is a great model and a marvelous showpiece, though admittedly I want something that I can swoosh around the house and look good at the same time, like a cheaper 32X version.

I was finally able to score one NIB on eBay for $86 ($65 + $21 Shipping).

I am hoping to have it by the end of the week.

I saw online in Steven's Hobby's website that Famemaster is going to be releasing two more 1/32 F-14's. 1978 VF-41 Black Aces CAG F-14A and 2004 VX-9 Vampires F-14D, the all black Tomcat with the vampire logo. Release date is TBA.

Seriously, check out your local Hobby Lobby...They retail them from $99.00 to $119.00 (depends on area I guess). But, the best part is, you can go to their website & join to get coupons via email & here's why that is great news:
1.) I bought my first 4D Vision from MTS for $149.00 plus $15.00 shipping.
2.) I bought my second 4D F14 from Hobby Lobby for $99.00 less 40% for a net of $59.40 (plus tax)! No Brainer!!!
Awesome plane, plan to repaint my second one!

That's great but there are no Hobby Lobby stores in my AO. The police state know as N.J. doesn't have any yet. No guns, no Hobby Lobby, high taxes! What's next

That's too bad billgiff...I checked them out on line - Looks like they are based in Oklahoma City...They've got a couple of stores in PA. Fortunately, they have a bunch of stores in TN, I think there are several in Memphis alone (not to make you feel bad).
Look, you can order on line - Looks like they only show the Famemaster space shuttle ($99.00), but you may be able to dig a little deeper and find the F14.

My F-14 arrived on Thursday.
I won't have a chance to put it together until after the move. :(

From what I can tell, it looks fantastic!
Pics don't do it justice.
I can't wait to see what it looks like assembled!

I picked up the F-14 model today at Hobby Lobby, they still have one left on the shelf. Wow, this thing is awesome. I was prepared to pay full price, but they rang it up 30% off at the register, so that was cool.

Glad you found one at Hobby Lobby, Sabrefan, and got 30% off as a "bonus"...It really is an awesome plane!

I had a great time putting the F-14 model together, and it really looks cool parked with my F-4 model. Does anyone make 32nd scale ground crew members that would go with this plane?

Make it more accurate

It's an awesome model. Other than the wheel bays, I enjoy the design. There is the only other thing I don't enjoy--paint.

I paid someone to repaint it, and also added my touch.

Before I can find accurate NO STEP stencils, this is the way it is. I am thrilled to see the all-white underbelly.

I plan to buy one for converting it to VF-111 Sundowners, and VX-9. I don't think they get VF-41 Black Aces right, same old painting problems.
