The Pleasanton, CA WM is doing an extenisve remodel and have marked down all the armor pieces to $10. Not much selection though. Just a few Brummbars was all I could find. Not sure whether the planes were marked down though. Had to leave before I could get a chance to check their prices.

Just ordered one! If its anything like the FOV 88mm gun, it should be fantastic! I like the looks of the sandbag emplacement piece as well!

I found the new 'Hairless Joe' P-47 Dogfight combo, and the Hanomag/Armored car combo at the Coral Springs/441 Walmart last night. Sharp looking sets.

Found several of the Fw-190/P-47 combos at a DC area Wally today, $25 plus tax, no other combo packs seen, but I will keep an eye out. The P-47 scheme is awesome, one of the best I've seen in 32X or XD for that matter, pic follows....

allright thanks
yeah ill return it
thanks

eh i was wondering if anyone wanted it..
i saw one avenger left on there

through an UNBELIEVABLE series of events i got my avenger
it was nowhere near the toys..

I was there, i saw a bubbletop, grabbed it, set it down. grabbed a 1:32 panther, set it down on top. Another guy like 28 or so saw this and told me "ya know they got avengers right over there" and pointed across the store... i almost cried.. we talked for a little, and then he left. had we not needed to get gas and wait for a freind in the bathroom, i wouldve got there, seen nothing, and left. yet for a brief minute or so my best friend (the guy who redirected me) was there. perfect timing.. i was gonna get some 1:32 playsets and stuff but i decided to get two avengers and a bubbletop, and that was already like 200.. so we left..
i wanted two avengers for myself, but at 70 bucks each.. whooo... so i got two, one for me and one for ebay. itll go to ebay unless MARK!!! wants it

Well, is'nt this just freakin wonderful-- fw190/p-47 combos as well as cold steel vehicle repaints showing up all around, except in the metro Atlanta area.

Also, a substantial restock of zeros, maachis, p-51s, and 109s have shown up again- although since at one store many of them dissapeared from one visit to the next, I think they simply put a bunch back in storage and just recently put it out again as stock fell to one or two.

There are some kb toys around here, but now vehicle repaints

Oviously, no hellcat/tiger combos, either.

Perhaps I've become somewhat spoiled

At a Walmart north of Los Angeles, I found the new King Tiger 99324, a Panzer IV Ausf H 99315 and the 99328 Panzer III Ausf L. I think the Panzer IV & III are new repaints. The IV #829 has the skirt with blue stripes and green splotches. The III #23 is Afrika Corp; beautiful tan with long barrel! The back of the box shows the 99315, 99324, a repaint Sturmpanzer Brummbar 99342 (yellow with brown splitches), and a great looking M7 Priest 99348 in green!

Digger,

Sorry, it was only a pix of the Priest on the box of a different tank I bought. Hopefully, we'll have the real deal soon!

I saw 3 of the new Dogfight packs at the Wal Mart in Merced, CA. while on a very long range recon for the Avengers. I should have picked one up, but they were on the top shelf and I was VERY bummed about not finding any Avengers.

At a Wal Mart in my AO in Fresno, I finally found all four of the previous 32x playsets with the 88, the P-40, the ME-109, and the Sherman. I almost walked out with the P-40 set, but have decided to save money for the non-existant Avenger.

Can you tell I'm carrying a grudge

Thanks to a previous post concerning the new combos; I picked up the p-47/fw-190 combo and the hanomog/panzerwagon pieces- good paint and detail on the latter, especially. The tiger and hellcat set did'nt quite reach out and grab me so I left it. I found them at the Mcdonough walmart about 30 miles south of Atlanta. I also saw 2 of the old Vietnam bulldog 1/18th tanks, too.
