new feature added to the panther A: the grenade launcher on the top of the turret now rotates. it has been also relocated to the correct spot. if your panther A you are trying to model doesn't have one as a lot of them did not, you will just need to fill the small hole with putty.

Great work so far, taking WAY too long!
I'm going to start doing half-ass interiors for my FOV tanks..
Are those the old 1:32 LINDBERG car kits that you can now buy at the dollar store?

i know i bought a 68 GTO and a 73 trans am. along with the 73 GTO i already have. they have been taking up all my time. plus mandatory overtime at work. i made the mold for the turret then i bought the cars. it will soon be cold out and ill will be back to indoor hobbys. sorry guys!!!.
those are ultra rare 1/32 CLE Citorens. i was planing on recasting them as well so everyone can get one. so i figured id show them off

Dr. Lead-Head

Please cast the following, I sure a great many of us would be HAPPY to buy.

1:32 T-34 (76) Turret compatible w. FOV.
1:32 KV-2 Turret compatible w. FOV
1:32 PANTHER F (narrow turret) compatible w. FOV or 21st CENT.

Those would be EASY! I'll be IN 100% $$

I planed on both styles of t-34/ 76 turrets and a KV-2. i was always worried i would then FOV would come out with the same and be in competition with them. their sales seem to be barely moving as it is. i don't want to be the one that kills them.

how about a full js-2 in 1/32 how awesome would that be???

hey if anyone has a FOV t-34 thats beat up that you would like to donate. i would like to make an su-85 and su-100 mold.

What would your JS II be cast in, solid resin?
DO IT and I will BUY IT!

* As far as the after market turrets are concerned, it's a common practice in the hobby world. When the big companies drop the ball and miss something obvious, the little guys catch what they missed.

(1) How many turrets would you end up making and selling, 50 each turret?
That's not enough to sink FOV.

(2) If anything, you would be keeping the 1:32 excitement alive for the die hard collectors. INACTIVITY, is what kills the hobby!

(3) In order to use your turrets, we would STILL have to buy a FOV tank for use of the chassis.

(4) FOV are sitting on their hands doing jack shit nothing.
NOW is a good time to do a project like this!

(5) Even if FOV were to release something new, it would probably release something really lame.

NOW'S the TIME! DO IT! I'll buy and so would many of us!

I would love to do a 1:32 MAUS!

you should do a maus. it being all square angles almost would be an easy first project. wheels are all hidden so they don't have to be exact. i don't know how you would make the tracks tho.
i don't think i would ever get to making a maus as my interest lie in vehicles that were used quite a bit in combat. i wouldn't mind having one tho.

Approach it the same AIRFIX did their 1:32 vehicles, in about 8 - 10 parts.
Simple, but just good enough.

I would say finish the Panther, and the Jagdpanzer iv first. A custom jagdpanzer iv just went a E-Bay for almost $190. Just goes to show you there is want for something new in the 1/32 market. I know. I will be buying any new cast you make. I am looking foward to some new 1/32 items. I have seen Panzerarm's work in the past. All I can say if you two join forces, I can't wait to see the finished product. I agree with the General. FOV keeps dropping the ball.

i seen that jagdpanzer 4 and his other items. i sent him a message inviting him to join our forum a couple days ago. i hope he dose.

I agree that fov is disappointing slow, but ill need them for bases to build upon. especially tracks i don't know how i would ever make tracks other then recasting ones that where already made.

Unfortunately I cannot see myself in the foreseeable future being able to satisfy your ravenous 1/32 appetite lol, but
I am getting back into the swing of things, slowly. A newborn baby girl and work/National Guard are seeing to it that I have little to no spare time. I started working on a DskAA for a 1/32 Russian project I am working on, but that's about it. As far as casting/moding things, I made the first step and bought the DIY kit from Hobby Lobby to at least get a feel for what I am capable of, but make no mistake, barring an unnatural knack for doing it (which I don't expect), it will still be some time before I can produce anything for a consumer.

the casting process is messy and theres a lot of waste. material and time. part of that is my inexperience. theres a guy on here tho that is on the 1/18 forum his name is "pickelhaube" he seems to have stuff together when it comes to casting. he makes 1/18 king tigers and sells them. their really cool but to big for what i have room for. he would be a good resource for learning how to do casting.

Matthew (Pickelhaube) is indeed a master at his craft, and although he has made a few minor 1/32 items in the past (hetzer mg), he has said he has little interest in 1/32 as it is too small a scale for him to work in. That being said, I have approached him to get guidance should I need it in the casting process, and he has been open to helping. Keep in mind though, that dude is very busy with his 1/18 orders and work outside of 1/18, so one cannot rely on him too much. I would love it if someone here could give it a concerted effort to do what PH does for the 1/18 guys but in 1/32 because, as Plasticgeneral says, there would be plenty of buyers.
