I'm content with my white BBI Zero to meet the 1:18 requirement, but a 32x Zero will be way too cool! This line has really taken off this year with some excellent new aircraft that are nearly as good as the 1:18 versions!
Didn't Roy Sutherland comment in some interview a long while back that we would probably first see a 21c Zero in 1:32 before 1:18?

Word on the street is that both NEW planes will be out in 6 weeks.. I don't think you'll see the XD Zero before then...

And just think.. The "other" new one is going to be announced tomorrrow (Tuesday)!!!tmanthegreat wrote:Great! Another 32x plane to add to the list. I'm beginning a trend of having a 1:18 scale aircraft and its 1:32 counterpart. That Zero looks awesome.

On a side note...... Where's King?????? He should be here for this..

Want a set of quick clues to the next 32x Airplane? See if you can guess correctly.
1. in-line engine
2. smoke rings
3. if Magnum PI had been a WWII pilot he would have liked this airplane!
Full details and pictures on AREA-21 tomorrow morning!!!!!!!
Lets get some dialogue going! I have painfully sitting on this little jem of news for a couple days now, I am ready to talk about it! What do you guys think?

Well...
I see you guys have come around...

I got back from LA last night and haven't had a chance to look at the site. I can't believe know one told you guys the second plane or had pics. They're really stringing you guys along. We'll I can't tell you guys now. It would ruin the anticipation they've built up.
Very nice looking plane I can see it selling fast. I need to pick up some more P40's.

Cool
Very Nice indeed. 21st is really pioneering now. A 1/32 Italian Fighter, Russian figures....the sky is clearly the limit.
1/32 is getting that much harder to stay away from

Wow! That's an origional airplane to make in 1:32! 21c certainly has the most unique aircraft selection in that scale. I hope these find a wide distribution at Wal Mart and hit the small retailers as well. These are two aircraft that I don't want to be chasing down (like the last 32x repaints.) I think I'll have to pick up one of those Macchi's, since its so different from the standard US/German/British aircraft fare. Do we get a new Italian pilot figure as well?

For what it's worth,....it's about time something exotic like this comes from 21st., I never would have guessed it would be an Italian Fighter aircraft from WWII ! This is sooooooo cool, indeed....more... more....exotic aircraft, paleeze ! ....I am known to be a patient man though, too.

Nice.
Both look Good. I particularly like the Macchi, interesting choice. The Zero seems an obvious choice, I prefer the Zero in white though. I agree more exotics, or at least what the industry call exotics. I got a hit for them, although nobody seems to like this idea, do an La-7 , Yak-3 and an Il-2. Lots of resistence to soviet equipment, I don't understand why. Late war Soviet fighters are extremely good looking in airsuperiority greys and whites with individual decorations that are striking. I just don't get the prejudice?

Russians
Dave, we can't get Russian anything in 1:18 scale....and a T-34 makes too much sense
Anyway, hopefully it is all changing with the intro of Russian 1/32 figures.
