Wal Mart in north Fresno had 8 of the 32x P-51B/Cs  The Wal Mart in Sanger, Ca, had a mixture of P-51B/Cs with winter Bf-109Fs and some of the 32x King Tigers & Panzers.

Found the two new Mustangs up in Midland MI today.
Very cool!
I had to compare.
These new models are light years better than the original 21C Mustang! :D

One can ask for trades or buy online from retailers, but god bless the thrill of the chase- the price of gas be damned

I found a new 1/144 fw-190 A-5 at walmart today, it was in a single pack and all twelve in the box were the same, no different planes. It is similar to the black 12, but is a black 1 and is marked with black crosses instead of white.

Thats news!! You said all 12 planes in the box were the Fw-190As??
That's weird..... :?

I sure wished someone would start making some of these without personal markings and with a decals sheet that has multiple numbers/liveries so collectors can build a squadron if they wish..

I've only found 3 Fireflys at one the TRUs in my area and strangely nothing else yet. I wonder why that is? Here's hoping the Pak40 Hanomags and 32x figure sets show up soon...

Yup...found the Arty and the Firefly in kit form in Walmart in San Diego. God knows when we'll get the playsets though! Also found all the TRU stuff as well.

I found Firefly's at the following CA TRU stores, Magic Mountain, Ontario, Salinas, Newark, Sunnyvale. New 8" in kit form at the Wally by Magic Mountain, also had RAF Polish P51. Picked up the only Bullfrog and 262 at Sunnyvale today. I've seen so much lately I forgot where they were at. P51's, 1/48 P40's, Italian and DAK infantry, 1/144 planes and Pak40 Hanomags. If one TRU didn't have it the next did.

What a haul! I'd love to know why my town smack in the middle of California has thus far been skipped over as far as the TRU stuff goes, but it landed in nearby Visalia, so I got my XD fix  Still, the TRUs in all these little towns get the stuff, but only one store in a large town gets even the smallest bit (3 Shermans). Wierd.

actually, the price sticker did say the usual $14.96 per box, but I just happened to use a nearby scanner for the hell of it and they came up at 3.75. I gotta start scanning stuff more often.

These have shown up in my AO also, but at full price, and nothing else to speak of..

Found the new 32x DAK & Italian figures at my local TRU, along with the three Sherman Fireflys that have been there for a week. They also had the 1:48 armor repaints, but none of the new aircraft repaints.

I found the long tom kit at walmart for 3.98 inc. tax, bought it. I wonder if any new 1/32nd mustangs or the latter 109s will ever show up at that price, too.

Much to my surprise, 2 of the 8" howitzer, 1 of the 155mm Long Tom, and 4 of the British Firefly kits have shown up at my local Wal-Mart.
