Dragon 1/72 251 Half-Track, rivetted version

Post by Philip » Sat Mar 31, 2007 10:16 am

I just ordered the Dragon 1/72 251 Half-track, rivetted version. I have the first issue half-track, which is wonderful. I am being much more "selective" when it comes to my collection. I used to buy almost every Dragon issue, then the prices went up, and many "re-paints." However, these half-tracks are truly remarkable in quality and detail. Although this is also an Ausf. C, like the one I have, it has very unique interior. My next purchases will be the new Dragon Jagdpanthers, if they ever get here! I am also looking forward to the HM 1/72 armor. When I get the 251, I will post a review.

Looking forward to your review. I just started collecting 1/72nd in the last 6 months or so, and the Dragon stuff is indeed excellent.

Hey Philip,

If you want your review added to the Diecast 72 website, let me know and I'll add it. I'm looking forward to this one as well. Hope to pick one up this week at the local hobby shop.

Dragon models simply can't be beaten. The 251, rivetted version is absolutely stunning! The detail is superb. The only thing that I do not like about the model is the back machine gun does not rotate like the first issue. Really, no big deal. The interior detail is flawless. Like I've said before, Dragon's half-tracks are some of the best, if not the best of Dragon's armor. If you do not have one of these, get one.
