You are sir.....EnemyAce wrote:Hey, looks like 21st is taking a shot at bbi for this one. This will be the first modern jet in 32 from 21st, correct?
I am also enthusiastic about the other new offerings, such as the P-51B/C...

21c seems to be taking a shot both at BBI and AT with their Phantoms. I'd prefer it if 21c stuck with the 1:32 F-4 as I think they may do a better job than BBI, given their experience in this scale. They would also include two figures, which it looks the BBI version may not

Not sure on that man, BBI's definitely gotten better, and the thought of the high durability and detail BBI puts into each release has me drooling waiting for this thing. Course, I will probably buy 1 from each company.tmanthegreat wrote:21c seems to be taking a shot both at BBI and AT with their Phantoms. Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:
F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

The pic doesn't show it, but the bbi mock-up box does have 2 figs in it.They would also include two figures, which it looks the BBI version may not

I was referring to the AT Phantom which has a pre-release pricepoint of $140 according the info that was up at the Badcat site a few days back, sorry if I was not clear about that. Add another $10 or so for shipping and you have your $150. The 21C 1/18th Phantom will go for $89.99 as you noted.According to the ad, the 1/18 F-4 will be $90 not $150

Im hoping this will be the first of many in this scale! Although it seems strange that they would jump straight into the f-4 for the first modern jets in 1/32 and not ones that are already out (f-86,f-104 or even the Mig-15!)hworth18 wrote:You are sir.....EnemyAce wrote:Hey, looks like 21st is taking a shot at bbi for this one.
