Foshan Tianjie Model Company

Post by FieroDude » Tue Feb 13, 2007 8:31 am

I recently came across a brochure that I picked up at the Chicago ihobbyexpo for the Foshan Tianjie Model company, and was intriqued yet again by their warship models. Has anyone ever heard anything about them, such as US distribution, pricing, etc.? They have a few 1:144 pieces, as well as some unusual scales (1/128, 1/100), but somehow, the idea of a 1/144 Yamato battleship model is kind of cool - especially if you have the room for a model ship 6 feet long!

Another one that I thought was really cool is a 1/36 German S-100 torpedo boat, which is about 41 inches long.

If anyone has heard of these guys, please let me know--I would be interested in finding out more.
