Update

Post by lightning2000 » Mon Jan 22, 2007 5:44 pm

Incidentally, near as I can tell, the Leopard tank is based upon one serving with the Greek Hellenic Army. I've done as much research as I can after learning about this item and this is the best I can come up with based upon the Minichamps description.

I'm also going to guess that the "box" GMC truck is a basic Deuce-and-a-half with its canvas cargo covering raised. Some things get lost in the translation when they're initially made public...

Centurion Tank

Post by lightning2000 » Fri Jan 26, 2007 4:27 am

Hi,
Not sure if anyone is interested but according to the German Minichamps site, their eagerly awaited Centurion tank is "now available," at least in Europe. Of course, no image was posted on the site, but generally it tends to show up soon thereafter here in North America as soon as their American distributor receives it.

You Must be Kidding

Post by lightning2000 » Fri Jan 26, 2007 3:00 pm

So let me see if I got this straight. Two days ago, you call me a thief on a public forum and now its "thanks for the intell"? Because of that thread, we probably lost several hundred if not thousand dollars in revenue, plus people think we're completely dishonest because you couldnt wait for your plane. Now you act like nothing ever happened. Why the sudden change of heart?

careful......

I do enjoy the the intel that lightning shares with us. I can't speak for all, but it takes more than one person to change my mind about a person, opinion or store...at least someone whom I do not have a rapport with. I imagine it's like that for most of us. That said....I shall not contribute further to this or other referances to the deleted thread, and I would advise others to do the same, as this is not the place for it.
