Went out on patrol today and found P-51C "Princess" and a Messerschmitt Bf-109K-4 # 17 with a red heart on the nose. I didn't know about these so it was a nice surprise!
edit: Sorry, been away and hadn't read the recon thread yet.

That's okay, it is good to hear others finding these.. I am pleasantly surprised that 21st went the extra mile and improved/updated the Bf-109K to represent the actual plane and they also now give an extra canopy for an "open" look...

Found those over the Thanksgiving weekend in my area, and I picked up both. I had not purchased the earlier 1:48 planes (but had come close on several occasions) and gave in with these. I'm really impressed by the detail and quality. Both planes are amazing considering their size and look like professional models.

Anyone have the sku# for the Bf 109K-4? None of my local Wal Marts carry these and I want to see if I can find it on the Wal Mart on-line site.
Thanks

Here's the SKU # for the Bf-109K4 and the P-51c. These are the numbers that correspond to the bar code on the box which WM scanns into the system.
Bf-109: 063874800605
P-51C: 063874800602
These could very well be in your area, just not in the system. When I first found these repaints, I was at the register and they didn't scan in - essentially the store had no record of them being in the invetory, even though they were out on the shelf. The employee actually wouldn't let me buy them! The second time around, the aircraft still hadn't been scanned in, but the cashier was able to get a price and I walked out with them. It seems that something similar happened to other boardmembers as well...

I saw both versions of the P-51b and ME-109 today at different walmarts; I left them not needing another scale to collect. Naturally, I went back to one walmart and got the green P-51b and 109g-10. I guess I'll have to get the "princess" and 109K-4, too.
Anything in a green 21st box I'm a sucka for- (with the exception of the RC armor).

I have now gotten both of the 1:48 Messerschmitts and neither one came with an extra canopy.
