I found some more repaints of the new 32x Stukas & Corsairs. There was the S2 Corsair and the S1 Stuka. This is in addition to the ones found earlier. They come in assortments of all 3 Corsairs and 3 Stukas, all of one type. Thus far, the following pictures show what I've seen:

Neat pics! Why do I feel that the S2 Corsair is another F4U-4B scheme??

Oh, and 1:48 scale P-51B's have been sighted here. ALL are missing the sliding canopy, so I'm thinking that they are missing or are in a bag under the base. Sharp as hell looking, though. I'd love to see it in 1:18....

Do the Stukas come with Aux Fuel tanks?

So the 32x armour shouldn't be too far behind.

Just Maachi and Zeros where I live, and 1:18 109E, G

although I saw the new 1:144 planes, but wasn't impressed with them

The Stukas come with the droptanks and the Corsairs with the rockets, bombs and droptanks. The bombs & droptanks on both planes are innerchangeable on the same hardpoints. The only downside is that the Corsair's bombs & rockets are all white in color, though that can easily be corrected. I like the ordinance options that came with these planes!

Did you happen to notice if the S1 Stuka had the sirens on the landing gear like the bigger version? I'm curious if the different paint schemes will have the caps on them, like the S3 you have pictured there.

Found the 144 aircraft tonight, but something else, too. New 1/32 scale kits ( at least I had not seen them) One pictured the new desert paint scheme 88. The other pictured a new version of the M24 Chaffee, with some kind of animal face on the front. But beware. Upon opening, the box contained the same two-toned Pacific paint job as before. My guess is that the 88 could well contain the same gray one as before. I notice now that the box does sport a label on one end stating " color and styles may vary", but it just seems to meto be a little unprofessional and dishonest on the part of 21st Century.

They are in a small bag underneath the black plastic carton holding the plane(contains the landing gear, landing gear doors, canopy pieces, 2 small bombs, 2 fuel tanks). So don't throw the box out right away! Open canopy is split into 2 pieces, closed canopy is 1. They can't really slide, its swappable. The alignment is off on mine but it can hold, so I'm not dissastisfied. The amount of detail they crammed into this is amazing, and the paint job is well done. These sell out fast. When I was at the chesapeake walmart last week, the first day I saw them, they had plenty. 3 days later I came back and all of them were gone. I am not sure of the exact case ratios but I do think there are more Mustangs than BF-109G's.

And after paying $9.99, I still can't believe how much detail I got. Definitely a BARGAIN and Tko wasn't lying when he said this line was focusing on value....for what you get you are getting a bargain as these the most detailed things@that pricepoint that I have ever found.
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

Just checked these again while hunting for a Mig. The S1 Stuka has the sirens on the landing gear, the S3 (which I have) has them capped. The ordinance on the S2 Corsair is painted: the rockets are gray, the droptanks are blue and the bombs green with yellow stripes. The ordinance on the S1 Corsair (which I also have) is all white. Its pretty cool to see the little modifications made for the same aircraft in the same production run :)

BTW, the pictures in my post above were from Area 21

You are exactly right! I bought them last night and opened them to find the same old paint scheme. I took them back today and received a refund. And as you said, they had a little sticker on the side that said (and in small print by the way) colors may vary. A very dirty handed trick to us collectors. Bring out a new box with a new and very cool paint scheme and then open it to find it is the old one repackaged. Come on 21st, show a little respect to your faithful customers here. :?

Hmm.. interesting. I suppose the only way to tell would be to open the box. A few weeks ago someone posted a pic of the desert scheme 88mm gun kit, so it would appear that at least some of these new kits have that new desert scheme inside. The pic here.....

In the small scales:
32x Corsair
32x Stuka
32x Panzer IV repaint
32x Panzer III L repaint
32x Dogfight pack
32x Iron Horse pack (Hannomag & SDK222)
1:144 planes (all 4)
FOV 1:72 US Halftrack
FOV 1:72 T-34
FOV 1:72 WWII US figures
FOV 1:72 WWII German figures
Dragon 1:72 Panther G

Darn, that's all way too much for one month! My new fall schedule whereby I'm booked nearly 12 hrs a day between work and school will really pay off in savings as I won't be able go to Wal Mart, Target, or the local Hobbtown USA store so often

Greetings

In the three Walmarts in my area, we have a TON of the German Veltros, and I am not sure why. It would appear everyone grabbed the gray ones, and ran off with them and left the German ones sit. I'm not sure why because I like the scheme a lot and think it's a good looking plane. I am wondering though if your average American public knows the Veltro and knows it enough to buy it.

The one Walmart near me had one remaining Tanian Group Zero without those yellow scuffs I talked about that the entire shipment had in the other Walmart. I picked it up as I love that scheme as well. One of the Walmarts has a whole bunch of different planes on the top shelf including P-47's, 51's, 109's, everything. I don't think they ever gotten them down or the toy department is too lazy to do so, one of the two. This Walmart also had two Dogfight packs, but that was it.

In terms of armor, playsets and the like, I don't really look at them, but, I can say there are a ton of them in all the Walmarts around here piled everywhere. It seems that the playset with the P-40 hasn't sold at all around here. We also have plenty of armor pieces and figure sets. I am pretty sure at one particular Walmart, I am one of the few that buys this stuff because when I go into that section, everyone is like, "Wow, someone actually wants it". It's an intercity Walmart, and some of the people that shop there just aren't interested or don't know anything about military toys.

I'm tired now, bedtime, LOL

Regards

Corey

ok at WM i saw a 1:32 Panzer III AUSF.L, it was pretty nice, I picked it up. On the back of the box there is an m7 priest, new brumbarr with sideskirts, piv ausf.h, and new kt

also, there was the rc panzer but it had the euro exlcusive paint scheme, numbers, decals, and all. when did this happen?

there were also grey macchis 1:32, p-40 1:32, stuka, bf-109 and fockewulfe

can someone explain on the euro rc panzer?

The Euro RC Panzer has been out for quite some time. I found them in my area in California in early March of this year; they came with an assortment of that included the NATO cammo RC M-113. See here: viewtopic.php?t=3881&start=0 It is the same paintscheme as on the European Exclusive Panzer IV, just that the side skirts & racks are not included. 21c also reworked the drive sprockets so the tank turns better and there is less gear skipping than on the previous two RC Panzer releases. The non-RC Euro Panzer may have been an exclusive to that part of the world, but that doesn't mean 21c can't reuse the scheme

BTW, I like the new 32x Panzer III.L in the DAK scheme as well. The new 32x Panzer IV repaint is also nicely done and is much better than the origional 32x Panzer IV's scheme, IMHO. The panzer III, Panzer IV and King Tiger repaints all come in the same assortment. I'm not to wild about seeing my Wal Mart shelves filled up with that other Brumbar repaint - many of the first ones are still sitting there - but the M7 Priest will be neat!

I came across two of the three new 21c playsets that were spotted a while back. There were the "Calais Channel Watch" set and the "Stalingrad" set. I picked up the Calais version namely for the AA gun; I really wish 21c would stop releasing that bunker for a while as we have enough of those! The AA gun is neat, but it is the same gun assembly from the 32x Flakpanzer IV Mobelwagon, including the same ammo boxes. Still it comes with the full sitting crew and looks good by itself!

Found one 1:48 Mustang in Auburn NY today. Fit and finish left a lot to be desired so I did not pick it up. Plus it was so darned small. I can handle 1:32 but smaller just seems really puny to me.

That is really funny. I remember when 1:32 was gigantic!! I loved my Revell 1:32 Boyington Corsair as a kid. That thing was big! Not any more...
