Anyone know the real story on the new German vehicles at TRU
I had pretty much quit going to the TRU military section since they quit carrying German vehicles of any kind. Just happen to wander by that area today in the Murietta CA TRU looking at the 1/18 planes and there sets a whole stack of the new tan Hannomags, all with the German cross on the side. Anyone know the inside stroy on this? Have they changed their policy or just trying to ease back into it hoping no one would notice and complain? Have a reason to go make more visits to TRU now.
Funny.....I heard this as well and I keep going to TRU to find the Tan one....no dice. Maybe the PC police is alive and well in Maryland?
I had heard years back that a Mom type organization was going to boycott TRU if they sold any German "enemy" toys. I just don't see the big deal....if we can't look back and learn from the past...what future do we have? While I'm on my box let me point out that China was our ally back then and now the're the ones portrayed as the "bad" guys in many video games these days......
To anwser the question of the tread....no idea.

?
Nobody said these were 21C products. He didn't even say these were 1/18. Did you spot the fov 1/32 hanomags that have been discussed recently? Please be more specific.
If it was the 1/32 hanomags it is no fluke - they have been stocked at TRU for a month now as part of the new fov assortment. I have seen stacks of them on numerous occassions while looking for the new modern 1/18 guys. If anybody needs one of these hanomags let me know.

yup
Harry, I realize the point - I just saw the post getting away from us.
I wouldn't get too excited as Mike has recently mentioned TRU's embargo on German stuff. Hopefully that policy has changed, but somehow I think this is more a case of slipping on by - much like the "accurate" markings on some of the German BoBII helmets we see at WM. I never thought they would be able to slip that symbol onto anything...

The ones I saw are the 1/32 FOV tan Hannomag. These are the ones with the figures where one soldier is helping a wounded comrade. Don't know if its considered old stock or not. As digger said, they appear to be the newer release. Whole point is, they are German vehicles marked as such. They may have been on the shelf for a month, I just haven't even looked for them becaue of the TRU supposed ban on German vehicle.
