Another Interesting Dragon Armor Auction

Post by lightning2000 » Mon Apr 03, 2006 5:08 am

Hi All,
While cruising Ebay, I came across another interesting auction for Dragon armor being sold off en masse. Unlike the last bulk auction, it look like this one is just for the CyberHobby products. It appears as if there's no reserve and, if my math skills havent waned, someone can obtain each vehicle for roughly $59 apiece. Not bad, considering some of the earlier vehicles in the series are going for around $100-$200. Might be worth watching and I think this one will probably fetch at least the starting bid....

CyberHobby / Limited auction.

Post by smh_1021 » Mon Apr 03, 2006 2:57 pm

Yup - I'm the one.

I have maintaining a collection of multiples, upon multiple, upon multiples of every item Dragon makes for years and just decided to offer some items for auction. I figured maybe someone that was either starting or wanted a second set of the CyberHobby and Limited items could benefit from the auction. I tried to price the auction by reducing the individual price(s) below what was being offered elsewhere. Plus, I didn't want to offer the entire Dragon collection because many individuals don't need each item Dragon has made to date. Given that about 110 (+/- a few) models remain beyond the CyberHobby and Limited items, I kinda' figured that a complete set should probably sell for around around $4000, given some harder-to-find items, such as 60001/60002/60003/60004/60009, may be more expensive.

If anyone has any opinions or thoughts, please let me know.
