Model Airplane Display Stand Question

Post by donnieboy » Sun Mar 19, 2006 3:24 pm

You knowledgeable guys are my last best hope!
Does anyone know of a company that makes plastic or metal display stands for 1:48, 1:32, and 1:18 model planes? Preferably, stands with a cradle at the top.
I found one company, (www.mystands.com), but their stands weren't suitable for my needs. I've Froogled my brains out without success. Any suggestions (except obscene retorts) would be greatly appreciated! :) .
BTW, the kind of stands Corgi includes with their 1:32 planes are basically what I'm looking for, but slightly shorter.

Yes, I saw some at the model shop recently, that were made of some sort of high-quality plastic, which mounted or cradled 1:32/1:48 scale sized aircraft. They were $19, I believe.

Mr. Football: Thanks so much for the info. Does this model shop (in Houston) have a phone # or website? :)
