The repaints showed up here in Atlanta, I had to buy the three, of course, no Zeros or Macchis yet.

Well, I like the 109 and the black p-47, as usual the p-51 is a complete piece of s... Of course, I knew better, but I bought it anyway. The wing assy almost seems wavy from end to end, it will not mate to the body without triming the landing gear box-carrier. Do we need any more repaints of this model?? It looks goofy with the others, but no one twisted my arm to get it- Is this a prime example of a non-lethal addiction? This gives me around 20 of the extreme wings ac- where are the zeros and maachis- macchis- whatever..

I agree the Mustang mold has run out and it's time for a new one..
I am beginning to think that the new planes got to New Mexico and stopped cold???? I am hoping they will show up sometime next week with the next major restock.. :?

Well, you guys in the east got the 1:18 P-51s and the new S2 BoB figures, as well as the German F-104s and Seeman 109Gs; thus we in the west get the 32x Macchis and Zeros. We've got to finally have our do - afterall, it took over three months for the silver F-104s, ME-109G repaints and Sky Captain P-40s to go east to west, which is unacceptable, from a retail standpoint. I'm frankly surprised that the 32x P-47, P-51 and ME-109 repaints have crossed the country west to east so quickly and wish such a pattern would be the norm for all products, going both ways :D

In other news, three of the Wal Marts in my AO now have the Zeros and Macchis and in one store they were even restocked :P

Is there more than one paint scheme on the Macchi ?

I noted that the 109E Trop was the number 4 when I would see it sold by itself but when included in a kit with some soldiers and sandbags the numbers was 1. (so I bought both) : )

So far, only the #151 squadron variant of the Macchi is out. I like how the numbers and lettering on the planes in the new 32x playsets with the P-40 and ME-109 have been changed to give some origionality. I have yet to see these sets in my area, with only the older 32x sets to be found.

Well, here we go again, it is 9:45pm, Sunday night, March 12th, the year of our Lord 2006 anno domini- Where in the everlovin Hades are the Zeros and Macchis outside of California? And I'm not sure an occasional retail fart in Arizona or New Mexico counts. We have here, in our well-saturated with Walmarts sprawling metropolis of Atlanta, one box of 2 Seemans and 2 German F-104s at most locations. WOULD SOMEONE BE INTERESTED IN A TRADE??? I don't know about a Seeman 109, but some may still want a nice German 104- pm me if a trade for several (3) of the new 1/32nd for the 104 seems even remotely reasonable..if not I'll hurry up and wait.

As of today, Monday, March 13.. Only repaints have shown up in numbers along with the Seeman 109 and German F104.. So, still no new birds in Tulsa yet.. :?

OK, I get the message; I'll wait like everyone (almost ) else for the possible appearance of the Zero and Macchi. I will continue to see the Sahl, Seeman, Eagleston, Eileen in 1/18th and wonder if I need another one of these repaints while anticipating new 1/32nd.

Darn, the west coast monopoly on a cool 21c product is over :P

You should pick them up, Ski, they're more detailed than several existing 1:18 planes.

Looking at the number of ebay pics that have just surfaced for these planes, I've got to say that the S1 and S2 Macchis look great, as does the S1 Zero. I wonder why the distribution was the way it was:

The West getting the S3 Macchi and the S2 & S3 Zero, while the East and midwest get the S1 7 S2 Macchi and the S1 Zero? Not really a problem as I like the paintschemes I got!

No one has mentioned that the pilots heads turn. Pretty cool.

Well, here's a fine how do ya do; after stopping in 5-6 walmarts every couple of days to and from work looking for 1/32nd zeros and macchis- guess how I found out they have arrived????????
MY DAD CALLED TODAY FROM ONE AND SAID HE PICKED UP A ZERO FOR HIMSELF. The parents were out shopping and found em. My dad has seen my basement assortment before and I'll buy him one every once in a while. It doesn't take a genius to see this hobby runs in the family. I've been out-reconned by my dad...I hope Friday goes by quick- waiting for 6:00 and the walmart on the way home.

WOW!! They sure do! I was afraid to bend them, figuring they were like all the other figures and stiff. They sure do move! Great idea on the part of 21c giving their 1:32 figures articulation!

This is dangerous....if 1/32 figures start to get up to speed then there will be nothing left of 1:18  :o

Yep. That's one of the biggest advantages I think 1/18th has over 1/32nd. If we can start posing 1/32nd figures, that opens up a whole new realm of collecting 1/32nd, at least for me.

Still all quiet on the Western NJ Front. Repaints, but nothing new. Ran into a guy feverishly searching for a desert camo Me109 at one WM. I told him they have been out of production for a while. When I got home I remembered that the new desert playset has one in there - completely forgot. The playsets were in the next isle over...

What the duece? Were are the Zeros? !!!!! Eagerly waiting but not bad enough to pay $30 plus $8 shipping for one on Ebay.

I found the 1/32 Wasp 109, 1/32 black Thunderbolt, and 1/32 Ridge Runner (I think) P-51 in the newly moved toy section (now at the back). I also found four 1/18th Ridge Runners in the clearance section (in garden area) as well. I left them all. They also had two PIV D's. The pickins were especially slim this go-around. Usually they have quite a number of 21st Century items.
