Its a blizzard and Im having a blast with all my toys. Watching the military chanel, Re-doing outfits on my 1/6th figures and playing army with my 3 year old daughter and our collection of Xd and 32x making bunkers and forts out of legos. And driving the wife crazy. Wahooo

. Sounds like great fun, I might find a little bit of time to slip away and perhaps work on my latest Lego MOC or just stand in front of my diecast and stare at them

Its 70 degrees here in central California, which is unseasonably warm. Time to go outside and run my RC tanks or make some sort of diorama... but maybe I'll just go for a bikeride instead

I just finished digging out. There was much snow I ran out of places to put it the stuff.

I am down the road from you in Maryland and we had about 18 inches.
Took twice as long to shovel and even the 25Hp Deere tractor with the blade on the front was huffin-and-puffin more than usual.

18 inches...that's insane. I'm not sure how much we got up here, but whatever it is, it's TOO much. I moved into this townhouse back in October after living in a house for 8 years. The driveway was massive. Figured I wouldn't need my snowblower here since there's no driveway and not much of a walkway...so I sold it. DUMB DUMB DUMB!

it's been seaonal here in toronto for the past few days, just below freezing but there is no snow on the ground to speak of.

I'm very familiar with large dumpings of snow, however. In my home town we used to have 10 foot high snow drifts most of the winter.

Hope you used the money to buy more figures and vehicles.

I had to take a break and clean out the cars and let my daughter play in the snow. My wife rewarded me with home made soup. yum yum. Now Im tired and taking a break.

I've heard about those 10 foot snow drifts. Thank God I never came up against one. If I ever did I think I'd throw down my shovel and put the house up for sale.

I've been to Toronto 3 times. Always stay at the Marriot on Yonge Street. I adore that city. Plus, I'm a big Rush fan....so it makes my visits that much better.

Figured I would try and use the snow to recreate the Ardennes Offensive (Battle of the Bulge) - however, both sides deserted when a separate counteroffensive appeared (yep ... the 'green machine' and a black/white/tan cocker-spaniel named Harley charging through the snow).

Wish I could say yes - but, the dog is not even deserving of the name 'Harley'. A leaf slides across the sidewalk, a few flurries fall on his nose, or he sees a few figures/tanks sitting idle in the snow and he tucks his tail and runs.

Beautiful, but cold here in Texas today. Woke up at 25 degrees here in Houston...clear as bell with almost no humidity (this is Houston, right?)...warmed up to about 58...very nice day!!!

Try working for the State Highway Admin. here in Maryland. Off to work at 2AM, 20 hours later I made it back home. God I hate snow.

Though, all the overtime might net a few FoV tanks I've been thinking of.

For what it's worth - I live in Maryland. So .... thank you for taking such nice care of our roads - I saw the aerial views this morning and was impressed with how clear and how expediently the roads were made passable and cleared. Especially with as much snow as we received .....

I'll pass the word around. To be honest I had nothing to do with clearing the roads. I work with the traffic lights. We had a couple hundred of'em out. I went in today (Mon) did some paper work and took off the rest of the day. I think I'll visit my local hobby shop today.

By local I mean an hour or more away in Frederick. Kinda far...but man it's a great store.

I don't envy you folks who have to battle the snow. Out here in Northern CA we're having some of the warmest weather ever recorded.

The more I read your comments guys, the more I love living in beautiful Miami, hurricanes, crooked politician, bananas and all.

I remember getting up at 0500 back in upstate NY to clear snow from the driveway. Brrrrrrrrr, no thanks! I've seen all the snow I care to look at for the rest of my life.

Where I live, its similar weather to Miami, but without the humidity, mosquitos, and hurricanes blowing down you house each year

...heck, in central California, we hardly ever have a wildfire on the scale of the southern California ones and the San Andreas fault sits over 50mi away!
